Millennials are a mirror that reflect many of societys problems or so claims a new report from researchers at Stanford University and other institutions.
The report, published Thursday, examines everything from suicide rates to health to homeownership among millennials in their 20s and 30s.
Millennials are the first generation to experience in a full-throttled way the social and economic problems of our time, said sociology professor David Grusky, director of the Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality.
These problems are steam-rolling a generation in a special way because they are bearing the brunt of factors like high inequality, declining economic prospects of high school dropouts and a growing education gap.

Shall we consider the toxicity brought about by professors of sociology, Dr. Grusky? It isn't generally professors of chemistry who announce to an entire generation that they cannot succeed and it's somebody else's fault.

Pro tip: When you are not preaching to others you might have something useful to say. If I wanted to spend time writing a dissertation I would; but would not spend the time doing so on this type of blog. True Freepers can understand each other among the typos.
In some ways I’m envious of my grandfather in the Navy.
He shot enough of the people who were the cause of his problems and got a medal for it. If I tried the same thing I’d be imprisoned or killed by my own countrymen by that evening and my entire extended family put on a watchlist.
And when he got home from serving his nation, he didn’t have to worry that the job he applied for was actually a pyramid scheme in disguise or would betray them for foreign sweatshop labor. His marriage contract also had more legal “sticking power” than the return policy of a toaster at Sears.
Oh dear, Wuli! My apologies for being unclear!!
I was speaking to the illiterate millennials, not to you!!!!
All my fault. I can see how you would take it that way.
_I_ need to be clearer, in future.
