Biden is not inspiring as a person and as a speaker. He is the anti-trump in this regard.
But if he takes a strong lead after the primary season hits, the DNC loyalists will start packing larger halls just to support him (or whichever one they think can beat Trump) and personality and charisma will have nothing to do with it
