Just a couple of weeks ago, a report by Atlanta’s NBC News affiliate “11-Alive” described Georgia as “the top filming location in the world.” In 2016 and 2017, Georgia led the U.S. in the number of top-grossing feature films produced. ...

Has there been any good movies anywhere since Smokey and he Bandit?

Mississippi had a good movie production business until Bennie Thompson, his district, and the race of professional victims began to see big $ and took away the tax incentives and taxed the movie companies at every turn. There was a burgeoning business directed at the movie industries during the 80’s and early 90’s until the taxes destroyed it and turned them to Georgia and Louisiana.

They’re filming something just down the road from my house here in South Alabama. They have the roads blocked where I take my daily walk with my dogs.

They’ll need to learn to code.

"‘The Friend” with Dakota Johnson?"

No. I was told but I forgot....a new 'Super Hero' movie (kids movie) by some movie makers with last name that starts with an 'M' and ends with 'Brothers.'

“Do the same thing with Karl Malden and have Streets Of San Francisco 2.0.”

Except now his character would be shoveling crap off The Streets of San Francisco.

Seen it before....DeLaurentis studio in Wilmington NC
Lefty actors came to town, 'acted' like they owned the place
(Judd Nelson hitting on my baby sister...'don't you know who I am?')
Steve Buscemi got sliced in a 3-way fight with Vince Vaughn and a townie
Doesn't bother me that it ground down to almost nothing now...

Sadly, yes.

One guy has a narrated audio drama version of an episode out there on YT.

He uses sound bytes and his own VO. The episode is a favorite of mine. Inferno.

True - and when they look even further at the physical attractiveness of today's actors from China, Korea, and other parts of the world compared to what Hollywood allows on screen, they should be more careful about allowing the ugliness of their words to match the ugliness of their outward appearances. :)

Sherwood Pictures is in Georgia - yeah, not the ‘big time’, but still, they make good movies. ‘Flywheel’ and ‘Facing the Giants’ - highly recommended!
