The Chicago police chief was the target of an interview today with his mayor, Rahm Emanuel, about the glaring obviousness of Jussie Smollett’s visible bastardization and disregard for our laws and our spirit of fairness. The Chief was righteously outraged at the turn that had been taken in the Chicago prosecutor’s allowing Smollett to walk in the face of such screaming evidence which entirely demanded prosecution and punishment. Even Rahm Emanuel, who is not what I would call any pillar of virtue, had to distance himself in expressing his disgust at the carelessness with which the hate-crime-faking actor managed to escape justice. I will be watching attentively as they more closely examine the influences that helped Chicago’s district attorney to arrive at her shabby decision to dismiss such a mountain of self-explanatory, incriminating facts.
The bottom line is, there are people in Chicago (and elsewhere) who desperately want an attack on someone like Smollet.
For some, it is a moneymaking industry. For others, it is a form of ideological masturbation.
Either way, they end up in the same toilet.

Canada Free Press has some of the best writers/articles with a conservative viewpoint that are routinely linked from FreeRepublic.
I know that, and it has nothing to do with my complaint.
Sean_Anthony's posting habits on Free Republic have not varied for many years, and are indistinguishable from any blog pimp out there.
By all objective evidence, he's using Free Republic as a click farm to drive eyeballs and clicks to that website, for his personal benefit.
When challenged on this in the past, he refused to explain himself, then dragged JimRob into the fray to protect him (which he did). As someone who cherishes this site and this community, that concerns me.
Gotta dampen the Mueller story from the news cycle, and get this on the general public’s minds.

What about all the (tens of?) millions people had to pay lawyers for the hope of not getting entrapped in dubious interpretations of law.
