Considering how sleazy his daughter became after leaving the Disney channel, I’m not surprised at all!
Link?
Cool Joe hasnt been charged. I give him the benefit of the doubt.
Can’t say that I’m completely surprised by this. I know that when it looked like his son could be a top-tier football player, Montana all of a sudden bought a place in the East Bay of SF, so his son could enroll at De La Salle HS, one of the top football High School programs in the country for many years.
Don’t recall if he got hurt or wasn’t as good as advertised, but Montana just as suddenly sold the East Bay digs, moved back to the Peninsula (south of SF) and his son enrolled somewhere else.
Ah, to be the 1% of the 1% of the 1%. Of course, then I’d have to be a liberal, wouldn’t I?
I don’t know what the Cate Blanchett treatment is but she should earn her way the same as everyone else is supposed to do. Same rules for everyone.
From another article:
Montana has not been charged by federal prosecutors and officials have said many clients paid Singers companies for legitimate advice and assistance, but never used the side-door fraud scam.
it will be interesting to see how many kids get booted from school, quit in advance of that, or lose their degrees if already completed. Hope all of the above happens. Very upsetting to see the abuse that is occurring. And I bet these folks are then only one and that there are other scams underway.
Lots of fan boys & fan girls getting Woke to Who can have talent, but possess absolutely NO.PERSONAL.ETHICS.
Being Amoral does not pass as a virtue. It’s pathetic that short of bloody murder, a father proving to be an empty suit, Today, serves as the community standard and gets a pass because you can toss balls.
Of course this goes across the board, for women too.
I suspect Singer built his model in scamming the elite wealthy. 500k for a state school proves these people were idiots.
They take out the workmans comp from the paycheck on a mandatory basis, you draw the benefits if you were injured...You would, I would...He did and should have.
“Say it ain’t so Joe.”
But NO politicians..?
COME ON..!!
Look
At least For now you cant win a football game and less you actually win it on the field
And its not predictable either
Consider that last Super Bowl did anybody on the planet earth predicted 30 score at the end of the first half between the patriots and the LA Rams the two most prolific offense is in football?
No and thats because in football Defense wins championships
New England played one of the best defense of football games ever in the history of the Super Bowl
So Joe Montanas kid was with the play football great he can say whatever but you got to get out of the field and actually do it
And guess what kids its the same thing in chemical engineering mechanical engineering physics nuclear physics any of that
Your mommy and daddy may be able to bribe some official to get you into the school but you aint going to compete unless you can do one subject
mathematics
That is the beauty of mathematics that could never ever be taken away theres always going to be a right answer and a wrong answer
They said that Singer had a college consulting service that was generally legit. Mickelson and Montana used him. But Joe’s kids really were athletes. And there is no evidence that they cheated on any test scores. I know Montana’s son played football at Notre Dame. But his career was just a few plays as quarterback. Its more likely that Montana and Mickelson wanted special services like privacy in exchange for speaking at the school. Remember Singer would likely want star athletes to speak at his events in order to meet more college coaches.
This scandal has a silver lining. As always happens, the entitled class over-reached. It's as wrong for an unqualified student to be admitted to play a sport or for ethnic balance as it is for any other reason.
(don't wind me up)
I’ll actually give a shit about this when they start to implicate some politicians, most of whom are among the sleaziest beings in existence, but I have yet to even hear of a hint that any politician has been implicated.
By the way, I assume it’s OK to lie about being a member of a protected class to get into Harvard Law School, but paying for someone to fudge SAT results or lie about an applicant’s sports prowess is not...
Final thought: From what is our attention being diverted to focus on a college entrance scandal?
