BOSTON During a guest lecture at Boston University on Monday, University of Washington Professor Robin DiAngelo told the audience a dangerous white person sees people as individuals rather than by skin color.
DiAngelo, whose main field of work is whiteness studies, added that those who say they were taught to treat everyone the same deny black people of their reality, she said.
(snip)
DiAngelos comments were couched during a section of her talk titled What Does It Mean To Be White that discussed colorblindness and those who say I was taught to treat everyone the same, or some version of that.
If you are being honest, youve probably said it, she told the audience, then added that in reality no one in the room was taught to treat everyone the same. Your parents could lecture you to do it [but] you dont do it, you cant do it, there is no human objectivity.
She said when she hears people talk about treating everyone the same, it tells her this person doesnt understand basic socialization. This person doesnt understand culture. This person is not self-aware....
When I hear a white person say this, what I am thinking is: This is a dangerous white person. This is a white person who is going to need to deny my reality.
(snip)
I want to be clear that as I stand up here with authority and a voice on this topic, Im reinforcing whiteness and the centrality of the white view, she said. Id like to be a little less white, which means a little less oppressive, oblivious, defensive, ignorant and arrogant.... She discussed how racism is systemic in the media, the family, religion, education, economics, language, and criminal justice.

So the answer to anything a white person does or says is, No, that’s wrong too, whitey!
In post #40, I meant to say “5 times as many white people as black people in America”
Interesting - I completely believe your stat, but do you have a source? I’ve recall reading that blacks commit 80 percent of interracial violent crime (which yields an even higher ratio than 12.5X), but haven’t seen a hard source with FBI stats, etc.
I read about them on the FBI homicide data tables - the figures were approximate.

“...a dangerous white person sees people as individuals rather than by skin color...”
And they will be especially dangerous to other whites because they don’t see that there is a war against whites.
If whites don’t become as race conscious as the others, and protect our interests, we’ll soon become like the SA whites.

Don’t judge a person by the color of their skin judge...........
oh never mind it’s not the back of the race baiting card.
Part of "white culture" is the idea that it is desirable to be fair and honest with people, even if they are not part of your tribe, ethnicity, or religion. Look at lots of other cultures around the world, and this is not the case.
Ask the Tutsis of Rwanda whether they would prefer having white Americans or black Hutus as neighbors.
Hispanic offenders are classified as white, so the number of non-Hispanic white offenders is calculated by subtracting Hispanic from white totals.
Black offender/white victim = 576, white offender black victim = 264. Keep in mind that cases where the killer isn't known (person killed in mugging, no idea who did it) can't be counted.
Thanks!
How can there be sex of victim = unknown? Is it because the body decomposed too much that there is nothing to go on?
American "Higher Education," needs a rational & honest little boy to set them straight.
