Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore says Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal would cause people in cities to starve to death

Patrick Moore is a co-founder of Greenpeace.

He just made this tweet regarding Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal: (original, archive)

The text states:

Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get the food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.

I think Moore’s comment would have been more effective without those first three words.

I do agree with everything else that he said.

The new Democrat women in Congress certainly show that the Party did not vet their candidates properly. Besides this wild-eyed idiot, the militant Muslim women, and some grandstanding lesbians, the GOP should be able to take quite a few seats back in next year’s election if they have an ounce of ambition.

Her grand plan is similar to what happened in Cambodia. The elite leader decreed that his people had to go back to a rural life and brutally carried out his wish . All he has to show for it is piles of skulls and photos of the tortured . When Ayn Rand first heard of the plans she correctly predicted millions would die

Think again. AOC shows that the new gameplan is working perfectly.

Far-left anti-American forces like George Soros have been trying to push socialism into the mainstream for decades to little effect, but look what they’ve done now: They auditioned and chose a young activist female in a highly democratic NY district and even undercut a party leader to elevate her to the seat. Now they’re providing the script they’ve dreamed of for years and look at how successful it is working...

She dominates every news cycle, and her “plan” has even seasoned legislators and Presidential candidates endorsing it despite the fact that “the emperor has no clothes”.

This is working beyond their wildest dreams and if conservatives to wake up, get past the “she’s an idiot” (which is obvious) and name-callling stage and start realizing how they’ve been strategically upstaged, we’re doing to end up with dozens more little AOCs in future elections.

Which is easier - spending tons of money to shift the electorate or spending cheap money to put a figurehead in place who will do you bidding and who will be treated like the Second Coming of Christ by the media?

Wake up people!

I think this guy just nailed it, instead of AOC, she should just be referred to as PLT (Pompous Little Twit)... Maybe even make a little parody theme music for this idiot... Spoof of Michael Jacksons PYT perhaps.

I really don’t see a problem. If the world is going to become uninhabitable due to global warming in 12 years, why not allow abortion until age 11?

Communists love a good famine to eliminate “surplus” population:

This is the very reason why AOC needs a microphone.

I disagree with the author at the end.

I think the *pompous little twit* was perfect.

I was just present at a meeting at which a (young) member of our software team confidently asserted that using a gasoline-powered leaf blower to clear a lawn produces more "emissions" than a Ford F150 truck being driven 100,000 miles.

No sweat. OCA is from NYC. Also most Democrats are from cities. Home to most of the societal parasites.

If anyone watched 60 Minutes last night, you can see what we are up against. They had a story about the Climate Change Lawsuit filed against the Federal Government by a bunch of brain washed children.

The BS propaganda was something to behold.

Zimbabwe is suffering a similar fate; when they shut down the whites’ commercial farms, they were reduced to sustenance farming - and the land feeds far less people. Instead of sending food to much of Africa, Zimbabwe now sends hungry refugees.

American Indians showed how only small populations could ever be supported with low-tech, “Earth-friendly” stewardship. Once a tribe reached a critical mass, it had to split; the land only sustains so many people per square mile. Also, you have to migrate to find your food.

I just did a google search on this story. Only conservative news outlets are reporting it. The Enemy of The People Media are not even mentioning this.

Massive culling of the excess human population is the core goal of all Leftist ideology.

She's also said we “need to take a look at industrialized farming” (my good faith paraphrase). That's really scary, given what happened in the old Soviet Union, Communist China, Cambodia, and Zimbabwe, and is happening now in Venezuela when socialist governments “took a look” at their farming practices: MASS STARVATION.

He’s actually wrong about at least one point. We have many trees in Canada that would never be cut down because they are so far from a significant population.

ROTFLMAO!! As an American who took a very enjoyable wilderness canoe trip on the Dumoine River in La Verendre Provincial Park in Quebec in about 1975, I fully understand what you're saying. In the US have “wilderness” because people take huge efforts to preserve it. Canada is wilderness for most of its land mass north of 200 miles above the US border because most Canadians just won't or can't live there due to the harsh conditions. One of my most notable memories of that trip is the yellow nylon jacket I wore that became covered with blood stains from all the black fly bites I suffered. We also had a MD from North Carolina who entertained himself by taking close up pictures of female trippers’ faces that had been so distorted by mosquito bites that they looked like they had leprosy.

B4 there was social media, we would respond to a shocking statement of Idiocracy as Cortez out of “excited utterance.” This is what he did as anyone with at least economic fundamentals would. He is just keeping his post, true to his reaction. It’s the pendulum swinging.
