President Trump should put his money where his mouth is

President Donald Trump should put his money where his mouth is on the Wall. It's easy for politicians to spend other people's money on projects. If Trump really believes the wall is necessary he should be willing to donate some of his money, possibly his presidential salary, to the wall like many of our fellow Americans are doing. Maybe he could suggest that those running his businesses donate part of the profits to the wall. Trump might try to persuade Congress to match private donations of money or labor.

Selling advertising could be practical near urban areas. Perhaps some companies would be satisfied with using pictures of ads on rural sections of the wall they have paid to construct.

Trump needs to educate those who want gun control to the fact that gun control cannot be effective without border control. A person who can cross the border unchecked can cross carrying 6 M16 rifles while wearing a backpack full of ammo.

#2. During WW2, key civilians (usually business leaders) picked by the govt to run various agencies often did not ask to receive a salary except for $1.00. They were known as “Dollar A Year” men, worthy patriots.

Donate no. Invest in rental property, yes.

Build a wall, and put guard tower apartments in!

How many Dale Gribbles would love to play protector of America, and pay to do it?

If his donation of time to the presidency was properly valued it would most likely exceed all of his other donations combined.

Look for nasty Nan, and James Brown to try that angle on campaign violations, as a reason to Peach Fotee Fibe.

These sorts of ideas remind me of the old liberal bumper sticker about how great it will be when our schools are fully funded and the military has to hold a bake sale.

Securing our country from invasion is the number one job of the federal government!!!

Isn’t the “janitor’s view” usually staring down the handle of a mop or a plunger?

Trump is as close as we will get to a third party president.

As far as the constant attacks by the left, we would see those on any GOP president, even a turncoat like Kasich. That is the new norm from the Democrat party.

I'm a retired janitor
with 100 hours of graduate study
beyond an M.A. in U.S. history.
I'm a mathematician,
historian
and social scientist
who uses a systems approach
to understanding society.

I dont feel that I should be subject to federal, state or local laws
as my flowers are very pretty
and everyone has to enjoy them
IN MY FRONT YARD
covered with trashy plastic that violates local zoning,
at least as much as I do.
I am an idiot of the obsidian order
and am triggered multiple times a day
by the actions of others.

I lost my good job at the vape shop
because of my triggered nature
and a deplorable Trump MAGA hat wearing conservative
demanding that I "DO HIS BIDDING"!

Now alls I have to do is grow my flowers
and bitch and moan about Trump not doing it right.

if Trump can serve for just $1.00 per year, SO CAN EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS.

Theyre all basically lottery winners nowadays, not public servants.

IIRC, he donated his last salary payment to the improving & restoration of Veterans cemeteries.

American citizens can keep contributing to building the WALL, but delays can no longer be tolerated. The invasions of the USA at our Southern Border are getting more & more brash.

No wonder he has only posted once since 2008 - That means he sat silent pretty much during all of Obama.
