Could President Trump swing a deal with his old partners/cronies and privately build the wall he wants with some kind of first payment due after he's out of office and swing a bigger Johnson ?

How does a private venture get Right of Way to build a wall on private property?

They might have to pay out of the nose for the right of way if the seller is recalcitrant, but I’d think most property owners along the border would be eager to have the wall protecting them.

For an effective wall, you need all property owners.

I don't know the topography, but I'm told there are places a wall or other solid barrier may be impossible.
Now if THOSE were the dissenting property owners ... leave 'em be.
They'll learn when the solid barrier shunts ALL the traffic through their scenic paradise.
