President Donald Trump should put his money where his mouth is on the Wall. It's easy for politicians to spend other people's money on projects. If Trump really believes the wall is necessary he should be willing to donate some of his money, possibly his presidential salary, to the wall like many of our fellow Americans are doing. Maybe he could suggest that those running his businesses donate part of the profits to the wall. Trump might try to persuade Congress to match private donations of money or labor.
Selling advertising could be practical near urban areas. Perhaps some companies would be satisfied with using pictures of ads on rural sections of the wall they have paid to construct.
Trump needs to educate those who want gun control to the fact that gun control cannot be effective without border control. A person who can cross the border unchecked can cross carrying 6 M16 rifles while wearing a backpack full of ammo.
Trump already donates his presidential salary to a charity for (I think) orphans of veterans. Donald Trump only takes $1.00 a year. Maybe the author of this piece should research a bit before making themselves look like an idiot?

President Trump has done more in the short time that He’s been POTUS than All others (both sides) have done combined !!!
He works endlessly, He donates All of His POTUS Payroll to IIRC Upkeep and Restoration of VA Cemeteries.

Trump refuses to take a salary. Trump has been donating his salary to differing federal gov’t agencies. Don’t know if he has targeted his salary to fund the wall yet though.
For Trump the 400k presidential salary is measly. The dollar value lost by not working on his own ventures far exceeds a 400k salary, by orders of magnitude. His 400k salary donation is only a very small portion of his personal donations. If his donation of time to the presidency was properly valued it would most likely exceed all of his other donations combined.
Right now, Trump could have been enjoying his time as a private citizen, with his supermodel wife, having time with his family.
Instead he is fighting for our future.

I still think my idea to install vending machines facing Mexico that dispense lottery tickets, beer, and cigarettes every couple hundred yards all along the wall is the best way to pay for it.
