I guess I'm here... I came to understand why and how you guys think the way you do. I'm extremely liberal and have a burning hatred for a good amount of the right, however I still want to contribute. I dislike being divided, I dislike any phobias that I know many of you have, and after reading some of the opinions on here I can honestly say that I see no good that can come from this website. The garbage spewed on here makes me want to puke. The clear disregard for political correctness and the way others may feel is so unimaginably disgusting to me that I doubt I can agree with anything being said here. I want to make clear that I'm not on this website to be absorbed into the alt-right echo-chamber that FreeRepublic is; I'm here to get a better understanding of how my fellow humans can be actively saying these things. I do not wish to cause any kind of drama, I just hope you guys can welcome my different viewpoints; If not I'll leave as soon as I came with the knowledge that this website is just a hate filled echo-chamber.

In spite of all this noise, there's still plenty to like here. The songs are still imbued with Elliot Easton's impudent and insolent guitar bursts and Greg Hawkes' sometimes-strident but often cloying synthesizers, and feature the same deadpan vocals by Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr that helped to give the group their trademark loner sound. There are ten tracks on the album, with Ocasek taking six of the leads and Orr the other four for sure. As was usually the case, Ocasek wrote all of the songs even including Misfit Kid. The lyrics still as often as not feature male protagonists getting twisted physically and mentally by capable and alluring women in blue dresses who try too hard but know how to take control of a situation.
