When the NY Times, Washington Post, CNN and other fact-challenged news outlets reported a few months ago that the oceans were warming at a catastrophic rate due to climate change, they all missed a glaring math error in the original science paper.
The paper, co-authored by Ralph Keeling of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, was published in the science journal Nature. It erroneously claimed that ocean temperatures were skyrocketing at a rate that was 60 percent higher than the IPCC’s known rate of ocean temperature trends. But the paper suffered from a glaring mathematical error that has since been exposed.
This erroneous conclusion was immediately seized upon by the left-wing media to claim that Trump was destroying the world by promoting fossil fuels which were causing so much warming that the world would soon come to an end.

When the “peers” are as inadequate at science as the publishing author, the concept of peer review is revealed as a joke.

You can get around that by disconnecting the engine compartment light.
Early on the Global Warming “scientists” completely compromised “peer review”. They got themselves appointed to as many relevant scientific journals as they could. When that didn’t work they way they wanted they formed their own journals with themselves dominating the review panels. They not only reviewed each others papers but each others students also. No dissenting from the established “warming canon” allowed!

No. This is due to our pouring “greenhouse gasses” back into the atmosphere which are reflecting solar radiation back to the sun causing a disruption to the solar sunspot cycles.
(Granted, I just made it up, but it sounds more scientific than any of the crap coming from the AGW cultists.)
