Matalin predicted that the GOP is going to pick up seats in the Senate on Tuesday and won’t lose the majority in the House of Representatives.
“Trump transcends politics more than the Republicans do. He stands up. He fights. He exposes hypocrisy. He exposes double standards and, for people out there who have been called names and had their motives questioned for several cycles now, for over a decade, there’s a visceral emotional response to that,” she said.
“We’re going to pick up at least five Senate seats,” she said.
Matalin also predicted that Republicans would possibly gain seats in the House as well.

Because of the way the house lines are drawn, it is just like the presidential vote by CD. We dont need Rasmussen’s +1 R in generic to gain. We can gain with a -1 R. Even is about +3.5 D in the generic vote
I have done NO deep research of the states and districts involved in close battles for house seats.
I will defer to the likes of you who know what they are talking about.

But some are in very vital states to win...states where the GOPers running for a House seat are absolutely going to win. But that just means that the VERY fired up GOP voters can be counted on to NO split the ticket. Does that help?
You know, 60 Republican Senators sounds really good to me. Hell, 61 Senators.
And a majority in the House.

If we do manage to gain a seat or two in the House, you are going to see the largest collective outcry of televised angst and salt in history. The Media will be utterly beside themselves, and I would not be surprised to see numerous calls to violence.
Remember, they have been told for a YEAR that Trump is so historically bad, that there is NO WAY Republicans hold anything. This will be even worse than 2016 for them.

Last I knew, he was whining about a pro-Alabama conspiracy in the SEC, possibly aided by the Russians. He also predicted a close victory for LSU last Saturday night over Alabama.

I've been praying and keeping my fingers crossed that we DO see some HUGE upsets, like beating that POS pervet & crook Menedez, in N.J. and getting the GOPer for governor in Ct.!

Same here...yet THAT ( ticket splitting ) is exactly what the Dems and the lefty pollsters infer, when they claim that the Dems will take the House, should the GOP keep/increase their seat count in the Senate.
