It never was going to be outright over turned. They will allow more states to impose restrictions, 24 hr. waiting periods, sonograms viewed by the mothers, taxpayer funds prohibited. At the worst for the choice crowd the court would kick abortion law back to the states where it should have remained to begin with.

Kavanaugh is not McCain. Don't forget that McCain cheated on his first wife and left her. Also, I doubt that McCain always went to Mass — in his case, Mass at the Episcopal Church — every week. Kavanaugh may not be as conservative as many of us freepers would like. However, he's a good man and who knows what the suffering of the past few weeks will have done to him? He may emerge significantly more conservative than he was before he was accused of attempted rape.
