If Ben Sasse were as clear thinking as he is principled, he would be awesome.

Who was that “Republican” senator the Cornhuskers elected who was always siding with the Democrats? He was close to Colin Powell.

Is there any point in the conformation hearings? It looks like each senator made up his mind on how to vote before the hearings started. I don’t think anything Mr. Kavanaugh says will change the mind of Cory Booker or Kamala Harris.

The GOP should dissolve.
Any of them who want to be Democrats should do so.
Any who remain should become nationalists, and go split up the Democratic Party.

SCHUMER GOT A LETTER FROM DISGRUNTLED DUMBOCRATS THAT WAS GOOD NEWS FOR REPUBLICANS:
Your job as Senate Democratic leader is to lead in complete opposition to Trumps USSC takeover.
But unbelievably, nearly two dozen Democrats have still not come out against Kavanaugh.
And just last week, you helped Majority Leader Mitch McConnell fast track 15 Trump judicial nominees. Give the guy a break----Schumer was busy speed-dialing EMS for Nancy Pelosi as she comes to grips with the pending Democrat annihilation.

I hope someone good steps up to replace Ben Sasse. What do you do when you have a rino vs liberal? When I first voted for him he said all the right things. Now were trying to figure out what is driving him. Pure hatred of Trump or was he playing the part. People I know are not happy with him.

If you haven't watched it yet,
I suggest you watch this by Sasse. He understands the problem, for the life of me I cannot understand why he blames Trump. I never heard him talk about Obama has harshly as he talks about Trump. Trump has always turned to the Legislative Branch first. Only when they can provide no satisfaction does he turn to alternative methods.

Sasse would learn the painful lesson that admiration for his left leaning philosophy is false flattery designed only to tempt him further to the left. Once he is used up he will be nothing better than a spent condom to left or right.

Ben Sasse’s Conservative credentials are pretty impressive. The question is where does he fit in with regards to the Republican party that is not run by Conservatives? His Never Trumpism is quite annoying and he can’t seem to let it go. He suffers from cutting off the nose to spite the face and that is why although he checks all the right conservative boxes, he comes across as a bore in these trying times where he sees the world through the right/left paradigm when it is much bigger than that.

I'm sure if he left the GOP, it would be to become an independent.

I might be like the Democrats leaving Reagan, but we haven't seen Sasse do any audacious yet.
