It's been painful to listen to many on team MAGA complain about Attorney General Jeff Sessions, accusing him of ineptness and promoting the narrative that he needs to resign. This idiocy has spread to knowledgeable right-leaning media personalities that clearly have no idea what's happening, and don't appreciate the size and scope of what Sessions has been undertaking.
The primary focus of Attorney General Sessions is to restore integrity and honor to the Department of Justice. He has been doing an excellent job running a tight ship and keeping details about ongoing investigations confidential. AG Sessions is doing everything to the letter of the law.
After Jeff Sessions was confirmed, the line of whistle-blowers outside his office must have been as long as a Bernie Sanders-style USSR breadline. Sessions' entire time as head of the DOJ has been one giant sting operation. The Clintons and Obama officials have been exposed. Long term FBI employees have been demoted and fired, while others provide witness testimony. Being a member of the deep-state isn't as fun as it used to be.
AG Sessions, likely last summer and unbeknownst to everyone, appointed a special prosecutor from outside the swamp of DC, all the while Trump supporters, including congressional committees, yelled for him to do his damn job and appoint one. I suppose Sessions got tired of listening to them cry like uninformed children when he he disclosed the name of the prosecutor: US Attorney John Huber from Utah.
"I am confident that Mr. Huber's review will include a full, complete and objective evaluation of these matters in a manner that is consistent with the law and facts. I receive regular updates from Mr. Huber and upon the conclusion of his review, will receive his recommendations as to whether any matters not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any matters merit the appointment of a special counsel."
Jeff Sessions disclosed he had the prosecutor a few weeks before he named Huber, yet nobody was able to discover his name. Nobody. A few weeks later, he decided to disclose the name. Mr. Huber is the LEAD prosecutor, which means there are more than one prosecutor working in-step with Mr. Horowitz. Nobody knew it. Think about that.
I have no doubt the uninformed will complain about something else in lieu of common sense, but that's expected. The Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, announced an investigation into the FISA abuse. I heard the uninformed complain that this is happening so late, but that's because, again, they're uninformed and aren't curious about what's happening with their country. Instead, they like to throw temper tantrums. Inspector Horowitz and his staff of 500 attorneys and prosecutors collected 1.2 million documents of evidence. This work does not need to be done again, as they have everything. The scope of his original investigation allowed for him to go down other rabbit holes as he found them. This announcement by Horowitz simply is a means to create a new specific report destined for the special prosecutor.
Sessions is Horowitz's boss. Sessions is FBI Director Christopher Wray's boss, who doubled his staff to comply with congressional document requests. Sessions is Rod Rosenstein's boss. Sessions is also the boss of the US District Attorneys. Currently, there are over 25,000 sealed indictments spread over the 94 federal districts across the United States. That is many times more than what is typical, as that number was racked up over the last 8 months. A lot of criminals are going down. This is all under Jeff Sessions. Sessions is also going after sanctuary cities, rolling up human traffickers, fighting illegal immigration, investigating leakers, and when he has some free time, he likes to take tours of GTMO.
The reason why many are upset with Jeff Sessions is because Hillary Clinton is still free. We're all brainwashed to think the Clintons aren't going to be brought to justice. I have that Pavlovian response as well. If you've followed them for the past few decades, you've seen them slither away countless times as others are arrested or put underground. They've been able to accomplish this under the umbrella of the Bushes, Clinton, and Obama, and recently under a Holder and Lynch DOJ.
Not under President Trump, and not under a DOJ with Jeff Sessions as the helm.
Investigations take time. It's frustrating when you see a criminal walk around in broad daylight, but these people have some of the best attorneys in the world. If there is any gray area for a mistrial, they will seize it. Therefore, investigators must make sure everything is done by the book with no chance for prosecutorial misconduct. Would you rather her be indicted now and go free from a mistrial, or wait a little longer and have a clean, slam-dunk prosecution?
In 2014, ex-California State Senator Leland Yee was indicted for a laundry list of crimes, including weapons trafficking. He was just sentenced this February, four years later. He received five years, which seems like a slap on the wrist, so clearly was singing like a little birdie. How many others were arrested? How many of those flipped? How many are connected to the Clintons? This was a large sting, but compared to the Clintons and their decades of crime, this was stealing a pack of gum.
Last month we learned there's an empaneled grand jury, likely for the handling of the Clinton email investigation. That means indictments are coming soon. Andrew McCabe kicked off a legal defense fund. Robert Mueller complied with Judge Sullivan's order to turn over exculpatory evidence in the Michael Flynn case. It's likely Flynn will be exonerated. The wheels of justice are turning and things are moving forward, and Hillary Clinton's day is coming, as is Obama's.
All of this is happening under the Attorney General. He has been orchestrating a masterful takedown of these criminals. All other crimes aside, remember they attempted to take down the American President and rig our election -- not just sweep a massive national security scandal under the rug. They will not go unpunished. The MSM will react by framing this as a political takedown, led by President Trump, which they're already doing after the President ordered an investigation into the spying by the Obama administration. Since Sessions did everything by the book, we will have a mountain of indisputable evidence to negate such accusations.
Don't listen to the parrots on the news channels. The more they talk, the more they prove how little they follow the actual news. They are reacting like brats because they aren't accostomed to not receiving leaks from the DOJ. When the hammer comes down, it will be glorious.
We’ve heard so much of this and nothing. It has to be a masterful Operation Overlord type plan or something is really rotten throughout the whole system to let real criminal sounding circumstances fizzle left and right for two years.
Remember when everyone was saying be patient during White Water? And those same people are so impatient today.
“The primary focus of Attorney General Sessions is to restore integrity and honor to the Department of Justice. He has been doing an excellent job running a tight ship and keeping details about ongoing investigations confidential. AG Sessions is doing everything to the letter of the law. “
Both you and the author have no factual basis in evidence for your beliefs.
They are just “feelings”. You believe it because you feel it.
ROTFLMAO
Huber, Sessions boy has not even interviewed Ohr.
Does that give u a indication of what’s NOT going on?
Nothing is going on.
“Remember when everyone was saying be patient during White Water? And those same people are so impatient today.”
I remember “Quidam” here on Freerepublic during the Clinton impeachment assuring us to “Trust Starr”.
I think it is good cop bad cop....We will see if Trump holds the house..
There could be grand juries sitting right now...but you think we would get some leaks.
From Art of the Deal....bad press can be good if it turns out your right and the press is wrong.....
Well, Triple E, I can think of no one else on FR who would have posted this article. I don’t agree with most of it, but you have full rights to showcase others who share your view.
Only time, action and the conclusive results of what appear to be inaction can be the final judges on who is correct.
C’est la vie.
So let’s start with the beginning of any legal repercussions:
Has Sessions arrested or indicted ANYONE in the Deep State?
Please answer.
Is it ridiculous to ask the question? “is Q Anon a Deep State or DNC aligned troll”? Was Quidam a troll, or just wrong, in the sense that (he) did not anticipate the weak and spineless Lott led Republican Senate had not a cahone among them when it came time to remove Clinton from office for so many high crimes and misdemeanors?
We are asked to take this all on faith. Yet, I do recognize the large number of corrupt DOJ and FBI officials that have been either fired or demoted. Now... where are the promised indictments? Are they among the 25,000 or 44,000 or 45,000 reported upon sealed indictments? I will wait to see. What else can I myself and anyone interested do?
Someone else remembers “Quidam”.
My guess is that Q and Quidam are the same person.
Of course not....he’s protecting it. Remember that he recused himself from the Russian investigation. Not the Clinto email server investigation. Not the Uranium 1 investigation. Not the Justice department internal corruption investigation. Russia. Sessions real boss Rob Rosenstien said there is no proof of collusion and not 1 vote was tampered with. So the shackles are gone, and yet he is in no way interested in looking into this. ICE is tacking care of the illegals. Sessions is napping. Get rid of him and appoint Rudy over the department and fire everyone!
In his defense it took time to go after the Mafia too. The DNC alone defends its own at least as well as the Mob if not better.
Q is a damned HOAX and Sessions is worse than useless; he is a weak kneed, spineless, worthless POS!
I’m a simple guy who’s been known to complicate making a cheese sandwich.
That said, my simple mind sez; to not have faith in Jeff Sessions is also to not have faith in President Trump.
Is there anything in President Trump’s documented performance indicating he’d tolerate anyone as incompetent as Sessions is portrayed? Don’t think so....
Yeah, it’s beyond frustrating not seeing a list of named names doing a perp walk or savoring their daily 1-hour break in Super Max. But that’s the instant gratification I’ve come to expect in our age.
Meanwhile, President Trump plays straight man to Sessions legal routine.
Sessions is as awful, if not far worse, than anyone with more than 3 working brain cells knows he is! This whole “TRUST SESSIONS”, etc. is a crock...which only gullible fools and the politically naive believe.
Plenty in trumps term to show he let’s sessions continue as incompetent. No indictments, Clintons, Obama, Lynch, Comey, Rice, no cleaning house at the FBI and DOJ now slowly moving. DOJ and FBI non-responsive to congress. He has been able to fire him the last 15 months with new allegations on regular basis. We all trust Trump a much as anyone we have seen in the WH, but on this issue he is AWOL
This was written in May, and unfortunately, we all now know that it’s b.s. Chaffetz reported that Sessions told him to his face that he’s not touching anything “too close to Hillary”. The Deep State is as Trump stated “having a field day” rummaging through decade-old tax returns and setting perjury traps for anyone remotely connected to Trump, getting them to “confess” to Trump’s crimes in order to keep themselves out of the pokey. Q has been exposed as a LARP.
All that we can do at this point is everything in our power to support the GOP in the midterm elections. The Party is just now coming under Trump’s control, and if it keeps both houses of Congress, Trump can clean house in the DOJ starting with Sessions and Rosenstein and work his way down from there until he finds an honest cop somewhere in the muck. At that point, maybe we might start to see the smallest inkling of a reestablishment of justice in this country. The alternative, a Dem takeover of the House and/or Senate will mean the end of all of the investigations into Deep State malfeasance, Mueller running even more amok, and endless Democrat investigations into the Trump administration.
I’m not buying any other story line at this point.
I’ll click on whatever I want, and you get what you deserve.
