Sarah Sanders lowers the boom on Acosta and WH press corps.

boo berry, cap’n crunch, and cinnamon toast crunch were my childhood faves
If you want me to react to stuff of your choosing, you can pay me to do it.
Then you can credibly assign motives.
Otherwise you can STFU and go fail somewhere else.
There is not now, never has been in the past, and probably with never be in the future any generally recognized social contract between men and women that does not come with prerequisites on BOTH sides. Men are to be respectful to LADIES. Women are assumed to be ladies, but if they prove themselves otherwise they have abrogated the social contract and it no longer protects them.
He is a maniac a walking trump campaign poster
When he gets on the air, and announces, “We’re not going anywhere. We’re going to keep reporting ‘the truth’ [FAKE news], no matter what it takes”, as if he’s reporting on the collapse of the Twin Towers, he is so cliche, he might as well start his sentences with, “Oh, the humanity!”, or “Ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt this broadcast, to report that an unusual object has fallen from the sky on a farm in Grovers Mill, New Jersey”.
Ratings?!?
They just lost to “Shark Week”. Did you forget the sarc tag? That was a seriously funny comment.
Never got down with the marshmallow thing either.
Cocoa Puffs and Trix - variations on the same theme, but man they were good too.
Honeycomb. Awesome. Poison, but awesome.
;)
Don’t forget Tang to drink.
And maybe some saccharine in your coffee.
Dating myself ;)
Look how much delight we get from ridiculing Acosta!
That’s worth a few million votes in November. Sarah and Trump know exactly what they are doing dishing to and taking abuse from Acosta.
And CNN wins too. Their morale is raised because Acosta is a hero to the dwindling number of CNN watchers.
You have be at least half as vain as Acosta to want to be in TV news these days. It didn’t used to be that way. I was watching some tapes from the 60s recently (11/22/63). Those guys were utterly professional. Get it first and get it right. And be fair, keep your opinions to yourself. I long for that!
I was pointing out that we have people on this forum who rail against a constitutional principle which had just been very well stated, provided a well known example of someone on this forum who vehemently disagrees (that would be you) and I pinged you because it is a convention of this forum to do so.
Make no mistake, there is nothing about your integrity, the degree to which you revere (or as we see here: don't) our founding governmental constitution, or your behavior on this forum that would cause me to care about how you act to a courtesy I only extended to you because it is required.
Thinking the same thing.
Sarah is one of the best I’ve ever seen in that position.
Not being a viewer, are they likely to play this exchange on CNN? It thoroughly discredits Acosta and makes him look stupid and petty...dos that impress CNN?
Why doesn’t she just say, Jim, you and your station are definitely the enemy of the people, the rest are on trial to determine if they want to join the same league.
In their circles they think nothing is wrong. They thought it was funny when the "comedian" viciously attacked Sarah, they in fact laughed.
You sure wrote a lot for somebody who doesn’t care.
Carry on.
Not a Tang guy, or the fake sugar guy.
Pop Tarts were coming on the scene, and they were killer. Hostess Apple Pies. Adams Apple and Grape Gum. RC Cola in the bottle on a 100 degree NorCal day.
Pink Popcorn bars. Sidewalk Sundaes. Foster’s Freeze milk shakes.
Chunky bars (solid trapezoid of milk chocolate).
It’s It. Italian Ice Bars. Hires Root Beer.
Lucerne Ice Cream and Craigmont Sodas from Safeway.
Lucky Lager with the rebus puzzles.
We didn’t have a lot of money, so growing up, just about every Friday night, my dad would make Appian Way Pizza. Came in a box with the flour and the pizza sauce in a can.
Growing up, that was really good pizza. Today probably not.
