Alright, the title gives it all away but just in case, roomba is a robot vacuum that vacuums you floor every day while you're there or not.
Dog dodo is dog crap, a pile of crap. Now my brother in law usually takes his dachshund's when he goes back to D.C for the work week. Since next week is going to be a short week for him he decided to leave the dogs behind at the house. Well, they're not well potty trained and he doesn't crate them. So by the time my sister gets home they've crapped all over the place and the Roomba made pretty little Crap designs all over the house. She called up sobbing about it, but ya gotta admit it's funny.
Any body else have Roomba stories?
Roombas are crap. The only purpose is to amuse technophiles with the novelty.
Roombas are great - much better than vacuums etc., especially under the furniture. You just need a plan and they clean up.
I love how they ‘go home’ when finished;)
I catch crap all the time for not being an animal person. Welcome to the party pal!

We kinda had that happen with our late lab/aussie...only she was smart enough to do it (diarrhea) on inside of ford explorer on things we could clean or throw out...leather seats, dog bed...ride (10 hours) home required towels on our seats...but luckily wasn’t too bad...she ALWAYS had accidents that proved cleanable...she was the BEST dog!!!
Sigh. We always remember those wonderful pets, don’t we?
They seem to live on...:)
Good dog!
Two labs and a cat. Roomba is a must for the main level. Love ours and cannot imagine not having one. One of the dogs obviously had an upset stomach, so, thankfully it was mostly grass that was randomly dragged about. However, it prompted me to schedule it to run at 9AM rather than the 3PM I originally scheduled as I believe any accidents are likely to happen the longer we are out of the house for the day.
Ah, doo doo. Thought you meant a dogs name was dodo (bird).
This is why one does NOT program a Roomba for automatic cleaning. Just pick a convenient time youre there and know your floor is clear of obstruction and start it yourself.
No. Theyre actually quite nice. Many years ago a co-worker raves about them to me. Finally got one a few years ago.
But I highly recommend it for regular maintenance cleaning, not major jobs every time. Keeping up with the vacuuming is good this way. Major things should be with a regular vac, though.

I don’t hate animals or dogs (except the pitbull that jumped off a roof and was going to eat me but was too stunned).
But every time I see a dogfood commercial selling top food that is better than what I eat, I think a lot of kids are starving for that affection and care. And they don’t sniff your crotch or walk between your legs.
Why the heck is she calling you crying about it?
Dodo is not the same as doo doo
Dodo
The dodo is an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of Mauritius, east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean
Btw, the natives killed them all because they were crappy birds.
I have several cats, and would be interested in seeing how they would react. :)
Cats like Roombas.
And, Im hoping soon we can get a cat. So well see if I can combine the 2!
Yeah, regular weekly or more maintenance. More than that you start needing a real manual vacuuming.
We have an older Roomba that has been running almost every day for the last four years. Sure sometimes it gets stuck, I’m sure newer models do better job (reviews here https://robotbox.net/top-5-best-roomba-robot-vacuums-pet-hair/ ). But running even our old Roomba every day has pretty much eliminated using a manual vacuum.
