Todays Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
Tired of all this Winning yet? Part I With Justice Anthony Kennedy announcing his long-anticipated retirement from Supreme Court on Wednesday, it was just like Election Night 2016 over at CNN. Check out these looooooooonnnnnng faces:
Just charming, arent they?
Tired of all this Winning yet? Part II Oh, but it got even better over on Twitter (because liberal outrage and angst is always better on Twitter), with SJWs and snowflakes wailing out their innermost feelings in 280 characters or less. Here are a couple of examples:
Matthew K. @mattiek17 Literally in tears. Havent felt this hopeless in a long time. With Justice Kennedy leaving, we now have two options as Americans: get fitted for your Nazi uniform or report directly to your death camp. How do you fight the darkness without light? My spark is going out. #SCOTUS

And this:
Molly Knight ✔ @molly_knight How very cool of Justice Kennedy to pour kerosene on the current dumpster fire that is America. The Roe v Wade riots should provide fine entertainment for him in his retirement.

Yes, because this 81 year-old man had an obligation to keep working to make sure helpless snowflakes like Molly Knight wouldnt have meltdowns on Twitter. My goodness.
There were many more examples of liberal depravity and dementia in the wake of Kennedys announcement, but they pretty much all involve the F word or explicit references to male and female body parts, so I wont quote them here.
Note that Ms. Knight is already promising riots over this change in a single Supreme Court justice. She was far from alone. Former Democratic Rep. Donna Edwards (Md.) told the execrable Nicole Wallace on MSNBC that Its time for Democrats to throw down, and what I mean by that is weve been playing by the rule book, and Donald Trump and Republicans have been playing by street rules, Edwards said. We need to play by street rules.
Oh, hey, everyone, what weve been seeing from the lunatic Democrats the last 20 months is them playing by the rule book. Of course, Ms. Edwards left out that its the Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals rulebook, but Im sure she just ran out of time.
Then theres Angela Rye, who is some sort of analyst for last-place CNN. Her advice to Democrats went like this: They have to raise hell, Rye said. I said it kind ofwhatever, but I mean, like, seriously. This is a decision that doesnt just impact our lives next year or the next two years. Man, is that some serious analysis, or what?
Not to be outdone, alleged serial woman harasser Chris Matthews (how does this guy still have his job?) told his audience that the nomination fight over Kennedys vacant seat is a time for vengeance for Democrats. See? This is the Democrats and their fake media guardians, playing by that rule book.
While the Democrats were actually relieved that Kennedys announced now gives them an excuse to quit talking about the fake dont separate the families! border issue that is killing them in the polls, the truth is that the politics of this situation are equally horrible for them, really as bad as they could possibly be. Even though craven RINOs like Susan Collins and Jeff Flake are already scurrying out of the woodwork promising to use the nominating process to satisfy personal grudges with President Trump, the fact of the matter is that the Democrats dont control a single lever of power in this process they have no means whatsoever of stopping it.
For that, they have their own ex-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to thank, because it was Reid who decided to go down the road of eliminating the filibuster rule on judicial nominations. Too bad, so sad, as my kids used to say.
To make matters even worse, the Democrats in this mid-term election year have at minimum 8 incumbent senators from states won by Donald Trump in 2016 who are in serious jeopardy of losing their bids to retain their seats. The vote on Kennedys replacement will in all likelihood come at some point in October, bare weeks before Election Day.
Think of the fix in which this places Democrat senators like North Dakotas Heidi Heitkamp, Montanas Jon Tester, Missouris Claire McCaskill, Floridas Bill Nelson, and West Virginias Joe Manchin. They and other vulnerable Dems are going to be placed under severe pressure by the Partys far-left voter base and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to march in lockstep (because marching in lockstep is what good little fascists are best at) with the rest of the Democrat senators in opposing any nominee. But for many of these folks, doing that will be fatal, assuming President Trump puts forward another nominee of similar character and quality as Neil Gorsuch.
Trust me, Trumps nominee has to be someone who is completely impeccable of character and whose record of public service is unassailable in any honest way. The Democrats will go to extreme lengths to Bork him or her by portraying them as too extreme to assume a seat on the highest court. Failing that, they will then subject the nominee to the Clarence Thomas strategy, so expect a parade of people coming forward to hurl false accusations of harassment or some other form of bad behavior in an effort to execute what then-nominee Thomas called a high-tech lynching. Because this is what the Democrats and their media guardians do.
One thing we can all be absolutely certain of is this: President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three words) will put forward a stellar, high-character, strict constructionist nominee to fill this vacancy. He will do that because that is what he promised to do in his campaign, and this man, like no president before him, keeps his promises to the American people.
Just another day in Donald Trump keeping his promises to America.
That is all.

The last two days have been amazing. Simply amazing.

After Garland Defeat, New Group Hopes to Draw Democrats to Judicial Battlefield
(Demand Justice: Soros>Podesta>Fallon>Herwig...)
If Justice Kennedy was so important to them maybe they should have treated him better.
Wait’ll McCain goes. Or one of the Obama criminals is sent up the river.
Pretty good blog...thanks for posting it, EyesOfTX...
On 11/21/2013, the Washington Post reported on Reid going nuclear. They didn’t seem to be against it. IIRC, McConnell told Reid that if they go nuclear, they will live to regret it.
Reid did it anyway. Today the rats are living to regret it.
Brace yourself for the return of the pussy hats. It’s going to get ugly out there. Hopefully the Senate can approve Trump’s nominee before the ugly movement gets too far along.
What if there was a real emergency, what would this generation of Democrats do?
Democrats started all this politicizing of every institution. Conservatives just Adapted, Improvised, and Overcame. What goes around comes around.
“Note that Ms. Knight is already promising riots over this change in a single Supreme Court justice. She was far from alone. Former Democratic Rep. The only time the Democrats play by the “rules” is when they work in their favor. If not, they are not above changing the rule as Harry Reid did. It is especially delightful to know the President Trump will get his pick for the Supreme Court because the Democrats at one point did not want the Republicans to have a say on Judicial appointments. Karma as they say is a bitch.
Hugo Boss stopped making them.
I just love all the agita the liberals are getting.
What do the Dems think, that they will be able to beat, kill, and burn their way into getting a leftist on the court?
Those red state Dem senators will either have to vote left now and lose their seats, and still lose the court fight or vote for the nominee, and lose both their seats and the court fight.
Either way, Trump wins. The level of Dem nuttery will determine how many seats the Dems toss on this.
“Borking” a Trump nominee for SCOTUS is unlikely since the now extremely warm Teddy Swimmer Kennedy is no longer in the Senate.
His rhetoric of pure evil is unmatched. Senate Dems will only make fools of themselves if they try to emulate him.
And they might even hesitate at unleashing their fury & rage on the Senate floor as those will have even more frightened voters pulling the Republican lever in November.
I don’t care one iota about the left nor will I ever again. If Clinton won, the gloating would be every single day. She would have picked one justice already and theoretically Ginsberg and Kennedy would have retired much earlier with the possibility of one more. All of the decisions this week would be 5-4 liberals and the Clinton court would eventually become 7-2. That’s America’s death sentence and possible Civil War.
“Waitll McCain goes.”
I can’t.
Oh yeh, Roe v Wade will be the new battle cry. Get ready to hear it everyday.
It’s not just th p***y hats, it’s the HIDEOUS revolting faces and bodies of the women who wear them. As a group they are totally ridiculous and at the same time are extreme projectile vomit-inducing.
One can only imagine the pressure that will be put on Ginsberg and Breyer, and maybe Sotomeyer to not even THINK about retiring, no matter how sick or old they may be. It must be terrific.
