Let me begin with some grim factoids: suicide is now the tenth leading cause of death in the United States. Every year, almost 45,000 Americans “blow their brains out” (most of the suicides involve firearms), and for every “successful” suicide, if I may use the word, 25 attempt and fail at it, fortunately. More than half suicides involve guns, hence the hyper-inflated gun crime stats used by the left to snuff the second amendment, and there are 123 suicides per day on average in the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave. White males make for 70 percent of suicides, as per 2016 data, while men overall die by suicide 3.53x more often than women, with middle aged white men in particular being susceptible to commit suicide.

Lack of logical training. only 1/2 of the suicidal are mentally ill. The rest would just be idiots who think, “You’ll be sorry when I’m gone” and forget that they will be too dead to get any satisfaction from that.

Thompson, and a plethora of rock reprobates that offed themselves.

So there are more suicides than innocent blacks killed by cops?
If somebody is feeling depressed or even if they aren’t, this is a good place to start. No drugs and the book costs hardly anything.
Judging from the articles and comments on FR, I’d say a lot of people could use it. There’s a lot of exaggerated pessimism around here.

Because so many in this country have rejected The Way, The Truth and The Life.
In many cases, I imagine, these suicides by men are probably preferable to the murder-suicides that many men commit, often due to the same stressors which trigger "mere" suicides. So if it weren't for many of these "mere" suicides by men, I imagine there would be significantly more murder-suicides occurring.
Men tend to have a big issue with possessiveness and being stripped of their "power", which often results in the devastating "if I can't have (the wife, the children, the girlfriend) then nobody will" impulse...

Tried it. They didn’t get along at all.
Hollywood and Television in general, Fake News plays a big part also.
Maybe because life has gotten to complex and multimedia brain washing convinces people if they aren’t the cream of the crop they’re worthless.
