Joke aside, after turning America’s campuses into leftist indoctrination centers and Hollywood into a hard-core propaganda machine for cultural marxism, now it’s Miss America pageant’s turn to get slapped over the head and benefit from a reeducation session, courtesy of our unhinged leftists who want to control every aspect of our lives, rewrite history as they see fit and dictate the moral imperative of the day with impunity. Yes, I am triggered, and that’s because my favorite philosophy show, Miss America Swim Suit Edition respectively, is no more. If you think this is a matter of small concern, think again: as the great philosopher Yamamoto Tsunetomo used to say back in the day, matters of small concern should be treated seriously.

The beauty pageants in the Philippines and the rest of Asia still have bathing suit and evening gown competitions.
Oh goody....It’s going to be like running for School President.

I don’t mind bathing suits. Everyone has to wear them at the beach and they are not unhealthy. And for some reason even the Muslim girl with the hijab still could wear a regular bathing suit.
I mind the foot deforming heels. Why not take those out of the competition and let them wear 2 inch comfy heels? Women don’t need to be hobbled.
Do they really think folks will tune in to see that crap?

When I was younger I really enjoyed the beauty pageants. I always watched miss USA, Miss America, and Miss Universe.
I don’t think my younger self would tune in, just to see what each candidate thought about working for world peace.

One of her callers, suggested since it was no longer about looks and beauty, why didn't they just broadcast the pageant as a radio program.
I laughed out loud in the car at that comment.
Says it all in nutshell about changing a beauty pageant into a "how do you feel about such and such" pageant.
I haven't watched these things since I was a kid, but I would guess this is not only going to kill their TV audience but more than likely it will be the demise of the pageant eventually.
Okay, replace the swimsuit competition with a shooting competition, gun of their choice. Who’s with me?
