Brittney Coelho arrived at her Harker, Tex. high school one morning, dressed in an outfit deemed appropriate by her schools dress code. But during the day, an assistant principal pulled her aside to point out an issue with her wardrobe the fact that Coelho wasnt wearing a bra.
It is not a requirement in the dress code at my school for me to wear a bra, the student tweeted. Stop blaming girlss outfits for boys not being raised right to respect women.
She then posted a photo of herself in the shirt she wore to school, without a bra, alongside a screen shot of Harker Heights High Schools dress code. The high-necked top seemed to cover up everything that the guidelines restricted, leading the student to conclude that the bra request was rather sexist.
The 17-year-old recalled the conversation with the administrator, a female assistant principal, for Yahoo Lifestyle, saying that she had asked Coelho if she was wearing a bra under her shirt, to which she responded no. The conversation took an even more uncomfortable turn when the administrator began to allegedly explain why that wasnt appropriate from pointing out that it would become more noticeable to others if Coelho was cold to telling her that she should cover up so guys dont stare.
The administrator did not immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyles request for comment....

Did I overlook the picture? Cant decide without the picture if she needs a bra or not. Obviously she should wear one - and want to wear one/ if she is endowed in that department. Where are her parents, for goodness sakes? Does she have any?
Bingo.
And if not, she damn well should.
Miss No Bra is being disrespectful to the boys. She’s intentionally distracting them from their school work. She’s intentionally causing a disturbance. Most dress codes include a clause about dressing to cause a distraction or disturbance. Send her home. Expel her for the rest of the year for taking this to Yahoo. If she’s a graduating senior, make her go to summer school to make up finals.
Of course, if a guy made a comment or he posted a pic of the puppies, he’d be expelled and had charges against him if he grabbed at them or worse. Guys, watch out for these types. They WILL get you into trouble.
Where is her mother in all of this? My mother would never let me go to school like that.
Yeah. I'm an outlier on this thread. It's nobody's business if a gal wears a bra or not. A code that tits aren't visible through whatever clothes she's wearing would make more sense.
I used to think I was, but I found out otherwise.
Or so I was informed by a well endowed young woman who noticed I was staring at hers, and she informed me "You're an ass, man..."
If she doesn’t mind boys (and a few girls) staring at her breasts, no problem. If she does, perhaps a bra would help.
I can see why she wanted attention focused on her Ta-tas .
Back in the seventies going braless became the fashion. For those gals too modest for the nipple reveal going braless entailed, they could buy bras with little buttons attached on the pointy end that made it look like they were braless.
I had an office manager working for me at the time who tried wearing a braless-bra, but even the notion that someone would think the little bumps were her nipples was too much for her. She just couldn’t do it. This was odd because she was actually kind of a raunchy woman who said that her name was Virginia, or Virgina for short, but not for long. I guess she was just putting up a front.
Yes. Fondly.
Poor kid.
Hat tip to the guy who convinced women that dressing slutty and sleeping around was somehow “empowering”.
Her tweetalks of herself - she was not raised right nor taught how to properly dress as a teenager. She has responsibility in this matter and doesn’t want to accept it..
I try to be discreet also....I do my best to not step on my tongue, druel on myself or make any sounds loud enough that resemble words like ‘ma ma’.
But it’s a struggle!
What kind of parent would let their daughter go to school dressed like that! Says a lot about the mom and dad!
No, but it probably keeps them from bouncing.
