Part I – California Governor Jerry Brown announced late Wednesday that he will send 400 state National Guard troops to the border at the request of President Donald Trump. Brown, always under pressure to pander to his state’s open borders crowd, claimed the troops would not be used for “enforcing federal immigration laws.” Rather, he said their task would be to supplement state and federal efforts to “combat transnational crime.”
Note to Governor Brown: Same thing.

Tired of all this Winning yet? Part II – Speaker Paul Ryan, under whose leadership federal spending has mushroomed at an unchecked, record pace, announced he would not seek re-election to his congressional seat this November. Immediately upon his announcement, all the inside-the-Beltway pundits warned us in unison that we are sure going to miss Paul Ryan after he’s gone.
These, of course, are the very same inside-the-Beltway pundits who warned us in unison that we would sure miss John Boehner after he was gone. All of you who have missed John Boehner for even a millisecond, stand up so you can be recognized. Go ahead, stand. No, seriously, get up off your sofa and…
Ok, that’s my point. The Speaker is dead, long live the new Speaker. I assure you, life will go on.
To his credit, the Speaker said that his decision was predicated on his desire to spend more time with his wife and young children, and he strongly implied that his days of seeking public office are over. Let’s hope that’s true – he has a beautiful family.

Part III – Under repeated questioning from Republican house members during his second day of testimony, Facebook android CEO Mark Zuckerberg blinked and claimed that, in the act of banning the completely un-threatening Diamond & Silk as somehow being a “threat to the Facebook community,” his evil minions had “made an enforcement error.”
He also claimed – falsely – that his evil minions had in fact already been in touch with the pro-Trump African American women to correct their error. This was news to the pair, who are still telling Fox News this morning that they have not heard a peep out of anyone at Facebook.
“We have not been in communication with Facebook,” Hardaway said. “We have not been contacted. We haven’t spoken to anyone over the phone. So that was a lie.”
If this surprises you, you need to pay closer attention.
Tired of all this Winning yet? Part IV – Amid all the hysteria over the abusive Mueller investigation and false Zuckerberg testimony, the fake news media barely noticed the new executive order issued by President Trump on Tuesday.
Trust me, this is important. This order reverses an Obama order that basically ended work requirements for welfare, and, more destructively to our society, allowed states to offer welfare and other social benefits to illegal aliens.
The Trump order requires states to comply with 8 U.S.C. 1611(a), which denies such benefits to non-qualifying illegal aliens, which will end up being almost all of them. Here is the relevant passage:
“(b) Within 90 days of the date of this order, the Secretaries shall each submit a report to the President, through the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, that:
(i) states how their respective agencies are complying with 8 U.S.C. 1611(a), which provides that an alien who is not a “qualified alien” as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1641 is, subject to certain statutorily defined exceptions, not eligible for any Federal public benefit as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1611(c);”
Once the illegals who entered the U.S. simply to get on the government dole start realizing that dole is going to stop, the self-deportations will begin.
And the fake news media, so focused as it is on porn stars and its dead Russia Collusion fantasy play, barely blinked. Amazing.
So, why is the President just now taking this action, 15 months into office? Mr. Trump was holding out hope for a long time that he could get the Democrats – and Speaker Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell – to work with him in good faith to reach an agreement on some form of comprehensive immigration reform. He has now realized that none of those congressional actors have ever had any intention of doing that, so is now taking every executive action he can take to improve the situation on his own.
He obviously reached that conclusion after congress presented him with the atrocity of an Omnibus budget bill in March, and has been taking various actions to protect the border since that time. Tuesday’s executive memorandum was just the latest such action, and most likely won’t be the last.
Just another day in Trump just keeps on #Winning America.

My understanding is that Mueller raided Trump’s attorney’s office with hopes of getting juicy sexual tidbits about Trump’s past life. Don’t know if any of it’s true or partially true or not. IMHO the Left is working really hard to get the Evangelicals to turn on Trump. What the Left doesn’t understand is that all of our lives are messy, we all have history we just as soon forget about. We all have baggage. Evangelicals know this about Trump, he’s not a choir boy, he’s got a past. But, in my opinion as one who prayed for eight years for God to bring forward a person that fears Him and puts their hope and trust in Him, and knows that God is faithful to those that truly seek Him. Don’t know what the future holds for Trump or us, but I believe that people change, I’ve seen it in others and in my own life. Trump is the guy we need right now.

I guess it is the inevitable human nature, but Congress resembles more and more the old Roman Senate. A group of elites who sit around arguing with each other but who don’t actually give a damn about the people. As a result, they’ve gradually absolved themselves from making decisions and they only really want the trappings of power and the money; no responsibility — please!

If all the people that have committed sins in their personal lives were barred from public office, we would have very few in charge. Look at Paul the Apostle, who arranged the execution and torture of early Christians. No, lying news media, you biased tramps are not going to damage Trump with the evangelicals or any other part of his base. Only he (or the Almighty) can do that.

Personally, I think she’s lying because SHE believes events so many years in the distant past and NO actual proof, will qualify her BS allegations as irreproachable ‘facts’ for those simple-minded, infantile Liberal goons and their equally sophomoric and smut-obsessed friends in the ‘media’.
If Daniels had to deal with a ‘real media’ and if she had to answer to rational, professional ‘journalists’... none of this would command a moment’s attention, except possibly with lifelong consumers of pornography, who must be swallowing this whole!!
Bottom line…‘selling newspapers’ by now, seems to justify the most low-bred, coarse language and conduct! Tuning in to the ‘news’ is like inviting a slap in the face.
