March 2018 was the least active month for sunspots since the middle of 2009, almost nine years ago. In fact, activity in the past few months has been so low it matches the low activity seen in late 2007 and early 2008, ten years ago when the last solar minimum began

But you don’t understand. These scientists were stuck in the 2nd grade so long they gave up and gave them a degree anyway.
This is the new progressive way.

Got it. Observable with remote sensing - but not with the visual. I don’t know - I’m pretty sure those scientist’s have it ALL figured out by now! Well - at least the part where the sun doesn’t have much to do with global warming.

True, but terrestrial life flourishes whenever it’s warm.

The last time the Thames river froze hard enough for a frost fair was 1814 the last little ice age. We are likely heading into another one now.

I was taught in the 3rd grade that the sun was on an 11 year cycle. Where did you go to school - Einstein Elementary?

Nope, public schools in the south. That was pre-integration.

Yeah, it does that every 11 years. Thats why they call it the sunspot cycle...Not all SS minimums (and maximums) are the same.
For example, recent studies have suggested that when a northern hemisphere sunspot minimum and a southern hemisphere sunspot minimum are phasing, you get a grand minimum.
That's what they are claiming is going on now.

Or multiplied by zero....in the “new math” era there’s always different ways to come up with any number of answers to a single problem.....

The sun is putting out the same energy per square foot as it always did, ...Actually, I've seen recent claims that the sun's output is down about 0.1%.
Taken in isolation, that should cool the earth by about 0.5 degrees F.
Throw in the increased cloud cover due to more cosmic rays, and it cools even more.
Plan for shorter growing seasons.

There’s an 11-year cycle, and a 206-year cycle, and a 400-year cycle, and a 2000-year cycle.

"Decrease of the Total Solar Irradiance Leads to Unbalanced Thermal Budget of the Earth and the Little Ice Age." I've read that the TSI number is very close to the trigger point, and dropping.
SuspiciousObservers.org has covered this extensively. They've gained a well earned reputation as the leading solar observation group in the country, in recent years.
