Im just an old fart and have gone through a lot of disappointments. But I told myself if this guy is for real, then we may still have a chance, so I voted for President Trump. Now to me he seems just like all the rest! 1.3T budget my rosy red butt!
Trump has been fighting the Dems, MSM, RINOs, #NeverTrumpers, and Deep State. He has been courageous and resolute during his first 14 months in office despite the Mueller witch-hunt and the weaponization of Intel community against his campaign and transition teams as well as a sitting President in the biggest political scandal in our history.
I get up every day with a smile on my face and a spring in my step knowing that Hillary is not in the WH nor is Jeb and the rest of the sad list of candidates for the GOP Presidential nomination.
Take your hand wringing and pearl clutching somewhere else. I support Trump more than ever.
Trump SURRENDERED to the Swamp, whether you choose to accept this or not. All the confidence he had earned with citizens such as myself has been flushed down the sewer. And that goes for all those who VOTED for it, including Lou Barletta and Chris Smith.
Sorry.
Loyalty not shaken.
What’s your alternative?
I am certain that this was Trump’s rationale when he CHOSE to BETRAY America-—nowhere else to go.
“All the confidence he had earned with citizens such as myself has been flushed down the sewer.”
Weak.
What is your alternative Susan?
by now it should be obvious;
we are threatening war with the chinese, russians, isis, al quaed, and every other swinging dick.
by now it should be obvious;
One benefit of living to age 70, is that it brings with it some clarity and perspective about life.
This is not the end of the world as we know it.
I read this morning on FR, that Trump has the ability to control the spending of funds in Porkulus , and to slow-walk things he does not like. Might be a ray of hope there. Apparently, O’Muslim did that kind of spending with these bills and Trump knows it and will do the same, in order to make the bill less offensive than it seems to the masses.
“Instead all this crap has not been reversed, not slowed down, but has instead picked up speed, is careening out of control.”
Divorced from reality.
Don’t share that opinion.
I am disappointed by his signing of the spending bill as well. However, I am a Republic Loyalist, as opposed to just a Trump Loyalist.
To me, that means that the majority of what President Trump has done, and will continue to do, is supportive of the Republic, and I support him in all of that.
But I will not support him with regard to this over the top spending, especially on non-Constitutional items.
Did you read the FR link I posted? How could you read that and say I’m divorced from reality?
I’m still hoping...but not nearly to the degree as yesterday, prior to1pm EST. I do see the sharks circling.
Tom, obviously you were never a Trump supporter. And now you lie and act as if a bad bill has never been signed into law before. Either way, why veto a bill with a veto that was going to be overridden anyway. If you had even half a brain and understood our system of government, you would have known that when the vote tally in the Senate came back with a veto proof majority, that was going to be no veto, why bother it would have been nothing but a waste of time. Of course it would have made you feel better until next week when it became law anyway and you would have found a way to blame Trump no matter what. So please just fade away and take your ignorance with you.
“How could you read that and say Im divorced from reality?”
Easy. You lack perspective.
Of course you’re world is shattered now.
Not sorry about that.
Let me be blunt. Hillary Madoff would not have been able to sign such a catastrophic budget. All of Trump’s most fervent supporters were told to bend over. Some “friend”!
The fact that Trump is better overall that Madoff Clinton will not be enough to motivate voters to to the polls in 2018. We will now be crushed, thanks in large part to yesterday’s betrayal.
Chuck Schumer 3/23/18 “... we were able to accomplish more (today) in the minority than (when) we had the presidency or were even in the majority”.
“Susan”, my wife, is equally disillusioned, BTW.
So get ready to vote for Hillary or Biden or Oprah, ya old fart.
Who GAS?
Submarines, really good submarines, we are going to have the best submarines...
