There is no realistic alternative, that's why this is so depressing. I honestly thought Trump would reverse this shit in the military, and when Mattis was announced as SecDef during the campaign I was even more confident. Instead all this crap has not been reversed, not slowed down, but has instead picked up speed, is careening out of control.
