In the aftermath of the Parkland shooting, CNN announced it would hold a Town Hall:
To help facilitate the discussion, CNN has announced it will hold a nationally televised town hall with the victims' classmates, parents and community members.Dana Loesch also would appear."Stand Up: The Students of Stoneman Douglas Demand Action" will air live at 9 p.m., ET, on Wednesday, February 21 at the BB&T Center.
So far, Florida Rep. Ted Deutch, Sen. Bill Nelson and Sen. Marco Rubio have accepted an invitation to participate in the town hall. Florida Gov. Rick Scott said he would be unable to attend because he would be working on legislative solutions in Tallahassee. And President Donald Trump also declined an invitation to speak to the students and parents.
It was a set-up.
CNN had scripted questions set for gun rights proponent Colton Haab, who refused to participate on that basis. CNN denied it, but I really don't believe anything CNN says.
As Loesch entered the lion's den she was assaulted with screams of "Murderer!"
As Loesch and her security detail walked toward the stage, audience members shouted at her phrases like, “murderer,” “child killer,” and “burn her.” Jake Tapper, CNN’s chief washington correspondent and anchor of “The Lead,” was the event moderator.And Tapper just stood there mute. No, he did not lose control. This is what he wanted. This is what he envisioned. It got worse. Cameron Kasky, leader of the lynch mob that night, hurled a vile salvo at Marco Rubio:“I know Jake, and it might strike a nerve, me saying this, but I think he lost control,” Loesch said.
“I'm sorry, I know I'm not supposed to do this, but I'm not going to listen to that. Senator Rubio, it's hard to look at you and not look down the barrel on an AR-15 and not look at Nikolas Cruz, but the point is: You're here and there are some people who are not,” Kasky spat.This is not the language of someone seeking a dialogue. It was a cheap political stunt. It was scripted.
And Tapper just stood there mute.
Neither Loesch nor Rubio had a thing to do with the shooting and they appeared voluntarily. Not once did Tapper exert control of the situation and ask for a little respect for those (a US Senator included) who participated, believing that it was to be a discussion. They weren't prepared for the hostile and juvenile encounter.

exactly...only a fool would have done that...and hate to say it...but both Rubio and Dana choked....very disappointed.
It is well known that Nikolas Cruz was viciously bullied at that school.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Boss Hogg, “Baldylocks” and that other little fascist, Cameron Kasky, were his main tormentors. They have definitely proven that they are violent, soulless bullies.
They WERE not ambushed. Dana is not stupid!! Marco? Maybe so. Dana can handle any moderator, and their minions!!
if they were Cruz’s bullies, that would explain a lot of the erratic behavior of these two teen twits.
She handled it beautifully!! If she was vindictive and spiteful, she would have lost the upper hand. However, she politely blamed it on Crapper’s inability to manage it! You GO GIRL!!
I think this will bite the libs in the hiney. Anybody who watched this saw a couple of regional people against a whole slew of hateful, despicable freaks. I don’t think it came off to most people like CNN hoped.

This is the scariest part of the whole scenario. They looked the other way. The unthinkable could have been true.
If you bothered to read the title which said they was ambushed I am saying if they was ambushed they should have known it was going to happen since they was on CNN. Also I am not blaming anyone for being stupid
