...."Last year, my reader sunnydaysall, from BrainHavenNet, posted Dr Christophers Herbal Legacy Newsletter from July 7, 2017, The Untimely Death of America.
It is well worth reading, especially for those interested in natural remedies.
One would have thought that George Washington would have had the finest medical care available. It seems he did in principle, but, judging from his final days, not in practice.
A summary and excerpts follow, emphases mine."...

Good information. Thanks.
You didn't look on a search engine using the language I provided you.
Don't think I can help you FRiend. I do wish you well.
That’s what I’ve read in my research. It’s quite conclusive it is the cause, not spicy food, coffee, stress, etc.
Black willow bark contains aspirin. They used chalk for heartburn.
Most AMA members are not doctors. Only 25% of docs are AMA members. The AMA supports Obamacare. And sorry JAMA is not a prestigious research journal.
“And the finest Whiskey and Rum in the colonies...”
The anesthesia industry!
I may be wrong but I don’t think opiates were available back then. A “surgeon” at Yorktown told me anesthesia was alcohol and a leather strap to bite on.
Just regular bottled mustard, or the powder?
My husband had a shoulder problem; he started taking vinegar in water, MSM, and K2 in addition to his regular vitamins. In two weeks, no more shoulder problem.
What are MSM, and K2?
I take turmeric for my hands. Helps about 50-60%.
Thanks in advance JT!
“Opiums history in the United States is as old as the nation itself. During the American Revolution, the Continental and British armies used opium to treat sick and wounded soldiers. Benjamin Franklin took opium late in life to cope with severe pain from a bladder stone. A doctor gave laudanum, a tincture of opium mixed with alcohol, to Alexander Hamilton after his fatal duel with Aaron Burr.”
Regardless, you will have to examine their math and then examine the math published in BMJ to decide whether you consider it credible.
I did and I do.
Doctors do a lot of good, but kill too many as they try their best.

My husband has found the MSM useful; I’ve been taking K2 because some nutritionists have begun to believe that it can be helpful in osteoporosis. It’s a nutrient that lots of us don’t get much of anymore.
If you Bing-around, you’ll find lots of info and opinions on both. (People have been giving MSM to horses for cartilage/joint issues for a long time...)
I did. It didn’t.
Graduated Summa Cum Laude from a Big 10 Med School.
And you?
I did. It did.
I can see why you would not want it to be true.
Have you looked at the cancer death rate in the U.K.? They have abandoned seniors. It’s sky high. They let them die!!!
I have a good friend whose from Britain. The government heath care has pulled the plug of her mom!
Saw this in Germany’s heath care too with my elderly relatives. Old people are too expensive to let live.
Did you noticed that the head of the Canadian health care several years ago, when she developed breast CA snuck into the U.S. to get her treatment?
How did you miss JAMA and BMJ became political tools decades ago!!!!! I’m in the field. I pay attention. THEY LIE!
Sorry, I usually don’t publically disagree with Freepers, but you are way out line here.
Take care. Enjoy your weekend! And your kids! Best “thing” ever!!!!
Thanks darling!
In the bottle - ie: French’s plain old mustard.
Sorry, I usually dont publically disagree with Freepers, but you are way out line here.
Happy to disagree, since it is factually based on hospital death records.
And you have not provided data that contradicts the findings. It is likely a larger number when deaths occurring outside hospitals is included.
Agree about family!
saved two of my relatives, but I am heartily sorry for your loss.
