Well I must tell you what has happened. Sophia's surgery is in eight days and about a week ago I asked if she wanted anything for the trip to Boston. She said she wanted me to get the entire world to pray for her on the day of the surgery. I started making calls, sending emails, and it is starting to happen!!
Our congressman Jodey Arrington went on tv to tell her he is praying! He sent her the most beautiful private video last night that made me cry. This man is a worthy leader in politics as he is a sincere man of God.

We created a Facebook page and Twitter account, I never thought THAT would happen, but it is actually working to spread her request.
She was so scared two weeks ago, whispering to everyone that she didn’t want to go to Boston, she didn’t want the brain surgery, but now she is so confident about the surgery because of the outpouring of prayers.
Can you spread her request to FReepers and ask them to spread the link? I updated her website and added it there at www.ninjakittensophia.com
I reached out to everyone from our local paper to Prime Ministers from Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand (to name a few), archbishops and bishop office around the US, her favorite Christian band Needtobreathe, and some actors. Kevin Sorbo replied to me and posted her request on his Facebook and Twitter feed! After he did that she started getting hundreds of personal prayers! I’m still a little lost on Facebook sharing/liking postings but my husband tells me her story has been shared thousands of times.
For weeks we have been approaching strangers asking them to pray for her but for the first time I see a really great reason for our family to be on social media!!
I told my husband, we are going to arrive in Boston and the surgeon is going to probably say “Geez, nothing like a little pressure from the world watching!”
Surgery date is January 24...hope the weather clears up. It's going to be a stressful time for the entire family without the weather adding to it.

I live in the Boston area,and grew up in Boston——we DO have some great medical care.

Thank you very much and let’s not forget the surgeons. I tend to skip over them when I remember - Oh! Oh! the surgeons are a big part of this..
