Well informed sources have said the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp Brigadier General Haj Qassem Soleimani sent a verbal letter, via Russia, to the head of the US forces commander in Syria, advising him to pull out all US forces to the last soldier or the doors of hell will open up.
My message to the US military command: when the battle against ISIS (the Islamic State group) will end, no American soldier will be tolerated in Syria. I advise you to leave by your own will or you will be forced to it, said Soleimani to a Russian officer. Soleimani asked the Russian responsible to expose the Iranian intentions towards the US: that they will be considered as forces of occupation if these decide to stay in north-east Syria where Kurds and Arab tribes cohabit together.
The Russians are not against the US presence and can adapt to this after defining the demarcation lines to avoid any clash. But Iran has a clear position and has decided not to abandon the Syrian President alone to face the US forces, if these stay behind.
Soleimanis letter to the US clearly indicated the promise of surprise measures against the US: You shall face soldiers and forces you have not experienced before in Syria and you will leave the country sooner or later.
Russia conveyed to the US that Iran will stay in Syria as long as President Assad decides, he who insists in liberating the entire territory from all forces without exception. Russia confirmed to the US its intention to refrain from offering any air support to Iran and its allies in the case of attacks on US forces. From the Russian perspective, the Iran-US dispute is not its concern nor on its agenda.

I’m much more concerned with various idiots permitting jihadis to just come home than I’m with Iran.
Iran has a program to develop a nuke bomb and one to develop ICBMs to deliver them to Europe. That’s what we should be worried about we have an important ally in the middle east and one or two left in Europe. I don’t giver a damn about Syria. I give a damn about nuclear Iran whose leaders believe it is their moral obligation bring about the end of the world.
BS threat! When ISIS is gone, so are we. Hence he’ll look good and claim credit for the US’s departure.
If the Iranian IRG is like the Iragi IRG, the gates of hell will open for this childish scum. All a bunch of cowards.
Keep in mind: never under-estimate your enemy and, this man is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of US soldiers in Iraq and the maiming of thousands more ...
If we can identify them outside their own country they should be sent home in body bags. Back to their families.
If Hillary was president we’d cut and run m
The fact alone that there are millions or morons that actually believe there is an allah that dictates the stupidity they follow just means there are millions that need killing or deprogrammed.
Pick one, either works for we non-stupid.
OK let’s dance, Get Israel ready, bomb all of the iranian govt to dirt..
Of course I know where Raqqa is. The only reason we have to be in Syria is to help remove the monster we created, ISIS. When they’re defeated, we should leave Syria and let Assad try to repair the damage our meddling initiated.
We never had the right to interfere with foreign governments in order to control their natural resources. Those activities are a part of our history for which no one should be proud.
I could become an environmentalist. Lets see what Iran looked like in the eons before humans.
This should warm the hearts of all of Iran's and Assad's ass-lickers around here. Thanks blam. bfl
If the USA departs there will be a power vacuum. Which group of evil men will fill the space. Which new group of ISIS types will sally forth.
Qassem Soleimani is one of those rare generals that lead from the frot or close to it. According to several sources at different times he has been declared dead, but perhaps only badly wounded. In any case he does not venture into places that the west could get him easily.
He stays in Iran most of the time, but travels into parts of Iraq and Syria under Iranian control, staying at Iranian-manned bases (al-Qods).
Getting him would require a suicide squad or heavy arty on his position. Air is also a possibility, and as I recall, he was near some air dropped munitions but they did not succeed.
Didn’t Mike Pompeo send his letter to Soleimani during the latter part of November?
So, isn’t this letter basically a response to the first letter which was sent by the US, not Iran?
lol. Reading a letter over the telephone?
