Isn’t it just so much fun watching as the same Democrats and fake journalists who have been calling for Roy Moore’s twist themselves into logical pretzels finding rationales for Al Franken to keep his seat in the U.S. Senate?
A.B. Stoddard made a complete fool of herself on Franken’s behalf last night on the Fox Report panel, saying that well, Franken apologized and Ms. Tweeden said she doesn’t want him to resign, so, you know, it all ok.
I didn’t d…wait, you have pictures? Ok, well, yeah, I did that. – Yeah, Franken apologized for fondling Lee Ann Tweeden’s breasts while she slept. Note to A.B.: When faced with photographic proof of the act, the breast-fondler doesn’t really have much choice, does he?
Stoddard and Franken’s other myriad fake media defenders – one NBC fake reporter even hilariously claimed that what he did “wasn’t really a fondle” – ignore the fact that the Minnesota Senator and SNL refugee denied forcibly french kissing Ms. Tweeden against her will and simply did not address her claims that he continued to harass her for the remainder of the USO tour they were on.
Look, liberals, we either have standards of behavior for senators or we don’t. The women accusing these men are either to be believed, or they aren’t. You don’t get to pick and choose depending on the party affiliation of the politician in question. I think Roy Moore is a very, very weird dude who probably did some of the things he’s being accused of – there’s just too much smoke there for there not to be a fire. But as long as Al Franken remains a member of the U.S. Senate, all you lefties just have to shut up now about Roy Moore. Because that’s how this stuff works.

Not exactly, we’ll hear endless stories about Roy Moore, but not so much about Franken. I notice even Weinstein has pretty much dropped from the news. Before long the misdeeds of, Franken, Weinstein, Spacy, and others will disappear down the Memory Hole, but Roy Moore will remain front and center for years, even if he loses the election.
The best part of the whole thing is that McConnell set his own self up for the most entertaining ride of all.....we all get to watch him play “whack-a-mole” for the next year or two as he tries to deal with all of the allegations that are sure to come against sitting senators.

AB Stoddard sounded and looked like a true dumb blonde if there ever was one. No proof allegations from 40 years ago are unnacceptable and the guy has to go but actual admittance of guilt (only because of pics) is OK and let bygones be bygones. Truly and idiot tool of the left.

I read a great article in the (conservative) Catholic press yesterday about the fact that the left is caught in a double bind. On the one hand, they say there is no such thing as sexual morality and anything goes; but on the other, because of the political power of feminists or other left-wing cultivated political power blocs, they have suddenly come up with sexual harassment as a political crime.
So this ludicrous pious posturing comes from people who have spent decades trying to destroy traditional concepts of sexual morality and morally permissible sexual behavior and now suddenly find themselves having to look shocked at the results of their campaign.
The first talking point they all talk about is HOW LONG AGO this allegation was! 11 whole years ago...ancient! No one should be removed from congress for something THAT long ago. But Roy Moore, 40 years ago......he must step down!!!
Yeah, I saw something last night in some headlines somewhere about how FRANKEN WAS NOT A SENATOR AT THE TIME!!! so I guess it doesn’t count.
Never mind that Moore supposedly groped and fondled women over 40 years ago. That was like yesterday, while if a Dem does it it was OLD NEWS TOO LONG AGO MOVE ON FOOLS!
Mr. Blackmon's distaste for him does not validate the accusations made against Judge Moore.
In fact, the "evidence" offered against Judge Moore to date (i.e., the yearbook) is not enduring scrutiny.
