Be very skeptical of the screeching media, demanding to know why aspects of FEMA recovery efforts aren't happening as fast as they determine it should be. Lying to the American people is something expected. Intentionally causing misery for political gain is also expected of Democrats, no matter how benign-to-lethal that misery will be.

Of course, Bush helped out by not fighting back, and going down to NO on AF1 to give Nagin a big hug and say nice things about him.
Which had no effect at all other than to embolden Nagin and Governor Kathleen Blanco.
In 2014, Nagin was convicted on twenty of twenty-one charges of wire fraud, bribery, and money laundering related to bribes from city contractors before and after Katrina and was sentenced to ten years in federal prison. He is presently incarcerated. Earliest release date will be 2023.
Right after Katrina hit he moved his family to Dallas and he enrolled his kids in school here. We got so many demoncraps who moved here because of Katrina that it knocked the balance of our judgeships and many Republicans were booted out of office.
Nagin, Bureau of Prisons (BOP) #32751-034, is presently incarcerated at this facility. His earliest possible release date is May 25, 2023.

I suspect those officials are withholding FEMA aid until they can get a better price for it. Bashing Trump is a side benefit and serves to diffuse attention that otherwise might be focused on the corruption.

It is a fact that Blanco recieved numerous, NUMEROUS calls from Harry Reid and his office telling her to fight or ignore anything from GWB’s gov. so the Dems could blame him. That is why she was bawling like a baby when Bush called and begged her “ WHAT DO YOU NEED??” She bawled ‘Everything. Everything.’ Kind of hard to coordinate things with that response. She was caught between the emergency she had and the Democrat party contributions.
Perhaps he is a public school graduate.
Give the island to China. No military allowed. Pay off the debt. Any Puerto Rican in a NY jail gets deported there. Chinese justice.
