NFL players and coaches talk Trump, chance of more protests This is getting to be more than silly! I am thinking these guys have taken too many hits to the head.

Bet Sherman didn’t mind a bit when King Barack I never referred to “we.” It was nothing but “I” and “me.”

Carolina Panthers players say that after Tuesday's meeting between the team's captains and owner Jerry Richardson they can join other NFL players in protest over the recent remarks of President Donald Trump without fear of backlash from the team owner.

I couldn’t watch but a few seconds of it, but CNN had some sort of “town hall” thing with tales of all the do-gooding the NFL does. Featured all the usual suspects. It aired last hour.

No fear of backlash from the owner, but what about backlash from the public, from the fans, from the cratering of TV ratings, decline in attendance, audible boos from the crowd, etc.????

This is fascinating to watch. They keep digging themselves deeper when the way out of their hole is so obvious to anyone who isn’t in there with them.

I want you to argue with them and get in their face....Barack Hussein Obama.
Guess they were ok with this from bammy.

They don’t even care if they win games anymore. Look at that Steelers coach. He should be explaining why they lost that game. Instead, they talk about Trump. What a bunch of losers!

Amazing. A case study for years to come!
Listen carefully, players, coaches, league office. I'm going to give you a piece of free advice.
NO ONE. NO! ONE! has told any of you that you cannot speak out on what you see as injustice. Not a single person!
What is being objected to is your desecrating the national anthem and putting your personal politics ahead of a three and a half minute song honoring all that's good in this country. If there wasn't any "good" in this country, there wouldn't be a single one of you standing (er, kneeling) there!
To: 2ndDivisionVet
I'm trying to envision a scenario where some white NFL player to kneel down during the national anthem -- and when he's asked about it by the media, explaining that he's protesting all the government funding for Planned Parenthood that's being used to kill a disproportionate number of unborn black babies.
The NFL and its media propagandist-collaborators are very selective when it comes to these protests, aren't they?

This is up there with the guy who finds his wife in bed with another man then yells “this will go in the news as a murder/suicide!” He then points the gun at his own head, at which point wife and lover burst into laughter.
“Don’t laugh,” he said.
“You’re next.”
The NFL in a nutshell.

You fellas either stand for the National Anthem this Sunday WITH your hands over your hearts, or your sport is finished. Bookmark this post and see if what it says does or does not come true. It is EITHER, OR, no in between.
