An estimated 100 protesters littered the grounds surrounding the Thomas Jefferson statue at the University of Virginia (UVA) Tuesday night to show strength behind a list of demands the Black Student Alliance gave to the university in August in response to the now infamous “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville.
More than 100 students, residents, and faculty members joined the protest, chanting, “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist UVA!” as they circled the statue which they adorned with a sign, reading, “TJ is a racist and rapist” and covered the university founder’s statue with a black tarp. “Black Lives Matter” banners laid draped on nearby bushes and stone partitions as a testament to the only lives that seem to matter in today’s frail and toxic university climate.
The demands listed on the “March to Reclaim Our Grounds” ultimatum notice come across as derisive to white people while elevating the standing of blacks, and include, the removal of Confederate statues from the school grounds, the university denouncing white supremacy, and increasing the number of blacks admitted to the university.

This is a good thing, whining about Confederate Generals is one thing but go after founding fathers and you lose 95% of people.

Many many many slaves were raped by their owners but she was basically his wife.
Some argue Thomas’s relative slipped Sally the Jefferson sausage. But let’s face it, Jeff’s beloved late wife and Sally had two things in common: the same father (so they were half-sisters) and apparently a very close resemblance. It’s going to be difficult to resist your own “property” when she looks like your dead wife. Of course, I’m going by a soap opera style storyline on what might’ve happened. We don’t know that for 100%, but it looks mighty suspicious and tempting.
In the UK during the Victorian era there was a major push to allow men to marry their dead wife’s sisters (it was forbidden as incest by the Anglican Church) as apparently there was much interest among widowers in doing so.
It was debated in parliament for decades. The law was finally passed allowing it in 1907.
Widows weren’t allowed to marry their dead husband’s brothers until 1921.
Jefferson couldn’t have married Sally, anyhow, because of the anti-miscegenation laws. Of course, some prominent pols flaunted the law, such as Vice-President Richard Mentor Johnson who lived with his slave “wife” as common-law, I believe. Ditto that for PA Congressman Thaddeus Stevens and his Black “wife.”

And what about the free Blacks that owned & sold slaves? They don’t count I guess.
I’ll say it again: Give every one of them $50,000* to renounce their citizenship and any and all claims against the USA and CSA and give them a one way ticket to Liberia. The 150+ year old problem of what to do with the Civil War contraband will finally be answered.

*$50,000 is a Helluva lot cheaper than to continue to $upport (((them))) for another 20 generations. Just the decline in crime rates will pay for the resettlement in little to no time.
So Old Tom had a thing for dark featured women is doesn’t mean he raped Sally nor from the looks of it he was a racist.
Consider the statements made by Ryan, Romney and others defending Antifa and that recent vote in the GOP Senate we can conclude that Republicans in congress have caved to these leftist thugs.(actually its the MSM that they are scared of.)
