I mean, he’s not wrong. It definitely would have an impact on the fan base. The NFL as we know it is going away sooner or later. Why not have it go sooner, in a burst of social-justice glory? Via the IJR:

Correct!
I’ve been watching Liga MX for decades. It’s probably the best league this side of the Atlantic with the Brasileiro Serie A being a distant 2nd.

“...far away from downtown, which is dumb.”
I agree. They need to keep it downtown to attract more people.

Skip Gutless = Certified Beta Cuck Schmuck

The guy is so pathetically weak, and only takes Kaepernick side because he is political. Skip Bayless political correct beta cuck weakling.

Politics aside... Kaepernik had been horrible for the last year and a half during the NFL regular season football before he got benched. This was long before his protests.

Colin is dating a woman from Berkley, California, that convinced him to leave his Christian faith to turn into a Muslim. Word is she is a hard core Berkley Leftist (that Colin is p whipped over) that convinced him it would be a good idea to take a knee during the Anthem.

Colin, like an idiot, probably thought this would save his NFL career that was going in the tank. The opposite happened. This p*ssed off the majority of NFL fans that love the American flag and want to take politics out of sports. It’s an escape for a lot of people.

Sorry Colin but you were simply too much of dumb@ss to listen to your radical leftist girlfriend for career advice who has basically terminated your career on top of your lousy football performance. It didn’t help that you did not even vote after all this protesting. Haha!

ESPN (owned now by Disney) keeps pushing this dead story, and attempting to politicalize sports. They are doing this because that’s were the majority of people are at. They are not watching the FAKE NEWS.

Krap is right but for the wrong reasons....the American system nowadays is attacking the hard working true Americans that keep this country protected and up and running....

WE are the ones who should be protesting...

jerks like Krap earn millions for nothing more than being somewhat athletic..they should thank America by kissing the ground they walk on...

I have questions about this CTE....

how many dead miners have they checked for CTE?...how about dead construction workers?...iron workers?...truckdrivers?...

they took a set number of dead guys and found all this CTE?...compared to which other group?..

do they intend on doing postmortem brain biopsies on every NFL player?...

no doubt repeated concussions would cause harm but is that harm only limited to famous millionaire ex nflers?...

plenty of older NFL guys around with smarts...

I wonder if we're really looking at years of roid abuse that set the table for CTE....

I saw that...I was a little relieved to see it was state and local taxes, not federal taxes.

I think people can have a better effect on legislators allocating state and local taxes, so that didn’t bother me as much.

I was going to blow a gasket if it was federal taxes.

Right...see my post at #28. And cherry is right. Kapernick should be kissing the ground of this country for the blessings he has been given.

Instead, he craps on his adoption family and country.

The NFL and TV were a match made in heaven and the 1960s were the time that the NFL became the #1 sport in the US.

And yet it still took until the 1973 season and Congressional intervention to drag Rozelle and the NFL, kicking and screaming, to partially eliminate the 75 mile home town blackout.

You’re suggesting that people watch a movie to get facts? LOL. How about reading a book instead.

I still wouldn’t give two $h_ts about Colin Kaepernick. Entirely too much emphasis on the game and those who play it.

They can protest all they want. We won’t watch anymore if it’s going to be loaded with nothing but political BS.

cherry:

Not sure about those industries. I think those who want to ban football for under 18 age will say that those guys are adults, we don’t have millions of kids that are construction workers, miners, truckdrivers, etc. We do have millions that play football at HS, JR High and lower levels, etc.

As for the Steriod abuse, I think that did contribute to the violence of the collisions, you have 250 to 260 lbs. guys today that are TE’s and LBs, in the 1970’s those guys were OL. You combine the speed with that size and yes the impact of the collisions is worse, so you may be on to something about the roid abuse.
