Putin: TV Trump Very Different From Real Trump
Fox News Insider ^ | July 8, 2017

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that "Television Trump" is very different from the real President Trump.

“As I see it, Television Trump is very different from the real person,” Putin said Saturday at a press conference. “He is absolutely concrete, absolutely adequately perceives the interlocutor, quite quickly analyzes, answers questions or draws from the discussions some new elements.

“As regards personal relations, I think they are established,” the Russian president stated.

The two world leaders met for the first time at the three day G-20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany. Their meeting spread to two and a half hours instead of the planned half hour.

Russia's meddling in the U.S. presidential election was not resolved in the meeting, but the presidents did agree upon a cease-fire in Syria.

Afterwards, the Russian foreign minister asserted that Trump had accepted Putin's denial of election interference, a claim the White House pushed back on.

“There is no basis to believe that Russia interfered in the electoral process of the United States,” Putin said....

There’s no such thing as ex-KGB and whatever that might be, is what Putin is. He’s no idiot, he’s no “friend” of the US, but he and Russia can be useful to the point of even being considered an ally (again) on the world stage in some matters. I take it that he regards our President as a worthy adversary and someone he can work with. That statement connotes a budding respect. And, that’s a good thing, not that it won’t be spun seven silly ways from Sunday by our bizarrely unhinged media.

I am extremely happy with the Trump / Putin meeting. I consider good relations with Russia more important than with any other nation and do not view modern Russia as a threat, but rather, our best potential ally.

Trump hits another home run.

So I’m not “Ex-Military Intelligence” even though I’ve done very little in that field since leaving the Army?

If you remain in service to whatever intel group to which you belonged, no, you’re not “ex.” You’d never be ex-CIA, either. No such thing as an ex-spook for any national intelligence agency, not in my opinion. GHW Bush in my opinion behaved rather oddly at times pertaining to certain matters, and I’m not alone in attributing that to his being an old spook.

George H.W. Bush was in the CIA from the day he left Yale. Everybody knows that. He might’ve even been OSS prior to that.

Have I indicated that I thought otherwise? It was not intentional if I have.

I dumped Cruz when Trump walked down that escalator in Trump Tower and announced his candidacy. I could tell he was a winner from the get-go. Maybe not perfect, like so many people want but can never find, but a winner nonetheless.

Rough around the edges, willing to fight the fight and punch back. A hatchet man. It was going to take a street fighter to be able to function in the corrupt, criminal political swamp of DC. No one else comes close to filling the bill for who we need as president right now. A real leader.

Cruz eventually showed his true colors and confirmed my impression of him as a little slimy snake himself, when he refused to endorse the GOP nominee, Trump, at the convention. Showed no class at all and turned me off of him in the future. Not a stand-up guy.

Putin studied Law at the Saint Petersburg State University, graduating in 1975 and was invited to join KGB when he graduated, the only one in his class to be invited. At first he rotated through many departments. Later he worked in illegal intelligence.

My intuition tells me President Trump has made a plethora of business deals sitting across the table from many different types of personalities including megalomaniacs, which I believe Putin is. So he knows that you have to bring something to the table to make a win-win for both sides or the deal doesn’t happen. You can’t just go into a meeting with anybody and tell them what to do and they’re just gonna do it. Bammy never knew crap about it.

Well geez. All you have to do is watch videos/tv interviews of him from the 80s and 90s. He’s very sharp.

Fwance’s president Zoolander, thankfully, is not our problem.

If there’s an inherited title of ManChild after Obama, Macron and Trudeau can cat-fight it.

I am not at all surprised by this. President Trump will go down in history as one of the best Presidents this country has ever seen and the dem party will self-destruct piece by piece during his time is office as their heads explode one by one because they can't understand, even for a minute, why Trump is right and why he wins most the time at their own game.

You hear this time and again. In person, he is a very serious but charming man who is insanely effective at negotiating and making people feel like they got a good deal while he gets a better deal for himself.

I have heard 100 times now how engaging he is in person behind closed doors.

President Trump is a natural psychologist in his ability to read people, judge character, and appease people. He is an amazing individual.

Best. President. Ever. With no disrespect to President Reagan.

After pussy wimp milquetoast Obama, the difference is night and day.

Obama was a Chihuahua, all bark and bluff and bluster.

Trump is a Belgian Malinois. He knows when to bark, knows when to stop, and knows when and how to attack and to bring you down if that’s called for.

I remember a time in the not too distant past the left was admonishing us “how can we settle our differences when we won’t even talk?”.
