"If Trump nominates Ben Shapiro, he could be in the court for the next 50 years !

Not perfect, but 99% there. And he is only, what, 15 years old?

They will go even more psychotic and we will have to pray for our President unceasingly. 24/7. And Pence. And the other constitutional judges.

However, if they don’t overturn Roe, it won’t matter anyway.

Ran my old-law-firm-partners-DC traps. Three are former AJ of SCOTUS law clerks. All had heard the rumor weeks/months ago, but no substantiation of any kind.

Who knows?

We can hope.

Thomas is the most conservative justice on the Court.

Just how does Jim allow you to post?

Clarence Thomas is 68 and a solid conservative. I hope he sticks around for a while longer.

I never understood why she didn’t resign when Obama was in office?

I suggested back in early 2016 that BHO should have nominated Cruz for the Scalia seat, that it would take Trump’s main rival out of the race and would establish a precedent of replacing conservative with conservative and liberal with liberal. Needless to say he didn’t take my advice :> so Cruz is now available for any replacement, and the Senate would confirm, just to get him out of the Senate.

The Cibolo Creek Ranch that Scalia mysteriously died at may have an open booking.

Maybe the same room and pillows are still available for a visit by her...

If only one goes away I prefer it be Kennedy. He is a loose cannon. At best his vote is to put his name on a Decision for posterity. He is also at least apparently healthier and Ginsberg can’t last too much longer, anyway.

I would nominate Cruz!

There is zero % chance he will ever side with Liberals!

Traitor Roberts would likely become the swing vote.

I suspect her “decisions” are transcribed by her clerks by means of telepathic connection to her unconscious mind.

Cruz would be a reliable constitutionalist.

And he is young.

Brenan
Ginsberg
both will need to be replaced.

We need solid constitutionalists in the wings to take over.

Trump can remake the courts and the influence will last fifty years. We are fortunate to have him.

How are they going to do that if we end up with five relatively young conservative judges?
