AWESOME VIDEO: That's gonna leave a mark.
Have you ever imagined that you were a public official who had just had it with the medias nonsense? So you strode to the microphone and you just let it rip? You told them how dishonest they are. How ignorant. How ridiculous. What complete and utter embarrassments they are.
Did you ever imagine this was you? Or just wish that some public official whod had enough would finally just let them have it?
I retract that comment, but keep the part about not responding to the heart of the matter I posted.

I don't know whether Mr. Douglas donates or not, but I do, to the tune of an automatic $40.00 monthly.
I also appreciate the CFP articles that are put on FreeRepublic. I do not go to any other websites for news and information other than FreeRepublic. So anybody who adds anything to FR is adding to my information input. If I am not interested in what the article is about, I don't click on it.
Heck, we get threads directing us to YouTube presentations (Tommy Sotomayor .. spelling? .. being one) and who knows whether that gets something back to Mr. Sotomayor or the creator of the video. But it's still some value added to the FreeRepublic site.
Somebody earlier mentioned that it's like having somebody come to your party and walking off with a case of beer. How is that true? Anybody bringing an article or writing to our attention is adding to our options here; if you're not interested in reading it, don't. To use the party analogy, I see it as somebody who has come to the party with a DVD, from which he gets a dollar .. and it's not anyone at the party paying him that dollar .. for getting people to view it. If the DVD is trash, he won't get any dollars. If it's worthwhile to view, then, by golly, I don't begrudge him making money .. and not money from me, at that .. by showing me something that I want to see.
I don't see how CFP articles on FreeRepublic are taking any money away from Jim Rob. If they were, then that would be a different story. But neither Jim Rob or me .. and, most certainly, all of you who are worrying so desperately about these articles .. are losing anything by it being posted here.
Since you brought up responding.. let’s have a look at Brer Anthony:

Notice anything?

I don't view myself as a knee-jerk defender of anybody on this forum .. except for Laz.
I have been a member here since December of 1999. In all of that time, to the best of my recollection, I have never .. never .. posted a thread on this site and I only post responses fairly rarely. Even then, most of those are normally humorous takes on the issue of the thread or on of the other responses.
None of that determines my "worth" to FreeRepublic.
What if they were putting up billboards on Jim's land?
Or pirating free commercials on Jim's radio station?
Wouldn't that make Canada Freak Press some contemptible criminals?
-PJ
Thanks!
Yes, to all three. But, as far as I know, Jim and the moderators allow these CFP articles on the site.
Would you begrudge Jim Rob's right to allow him to put up a billboard on his land?
Would you forbid Jim Rob from giving him what you call "free commercials" on his radio station, if he so desired?
It would appear that this is something that needs to be decided at the Jim Rob/moderator level. I agree with the earlier poster: if Jim Rob and the moderators want to ban him, fine. If they don't .. and they haven't .. I don't see what the fuss is about from all of the rest of you.
Hear, hear!
LMFAO @ YOU!!
Very interesting how several “freepers” suddenly came together to defend a spambot, and viciously attack anyone who called out the spambot.
Thanks for providing the entertainment today, and being such an easy take-down.
Better luck in 2020.
Free Republic is a site dedicated to the concerns of traditional grassroots conservative activists. We're here to discuss and advance our conservative causes in a more or less liberal-free environment. We're not here to debate liberals. We do not want our pages filled with their arrogant, obnoxious, repugnant bile. Liberals, usurpers, and other assorted malcontents are considered unwelcome trolls on FR and their accounts and or posts will be summarily dismissed at the convenience of the site administrators.
Free Republic does not advocate or condone racism, violence, rebellion, secession, or an overthrow of the government. Free Republic advocates a return to constitutionally limited government, reserving all government powers not expressly delegated by the constitution to the United States to the States respectively, or the people, emphasizing sovereign state governments, local government, self-government and self-rule, while restricting government powers to only those enumerated in the constitution and maximizing individual rights and liberty as originally envisioned and established by our Founding Fathers and secured and defended by the blood of patriots and statesmen for over two hundred years.
Oh stop it with your silliness.........LOL!
Thang-Q!

Boilerplate? That's what you think of Jim Robinson's request? How gracious of you.
My pleasure, friend.
“Where do you draw the line on criminal behavior?”
Please state where blog-pimping is a crime? Cite the specific code and section, thank you.
So basically you are saying I shouldn’t have an opinion about it.
Well screw that.
You never read about stealing in the Bible?
Really?
Whatever, Meghammad.
Nope, have all of the opinions about it that you want.
I just see it as mental masturbation, if you're not willing to beard Jim Rob in his den and force the issue with him.
In short, "If you don't like it, take it up with the boss."
