Sean Anthony is using FR as a free advertising tool, thumbing his nose at us all.
He is a thief and a scoundrel and I hope he falls into a hole and catches fire.
I didn’t realize that my comments were required reading.
Wow.
I’m more important than I thought.
WOW.
Typically while scrolling down a thread the comment comes up before the posters name, i’m not about to start reading the posters name before the comment just to avoid you.
You on the other hand can avoid clicking these sean anthony threads all together and avoid the stress.
I imagine that a good deal of content posted here is from either the author or the website owner.
Tell me why it’s worse for Sean to post interesting articles from CFP and get paid for them than if he were to post interesting articles from CNN so CNN got paid for them?
Spam Anthony is even more important.
He has knee-jerk defenders here who assume that he is providing a valuable service, despite his never personally posting a word in this discussion forum.
So who's stressed?
I have occasionally been accused of having a flair for
the dramatic. (I was an actor in one of my former lives.)
But really - I don't sweat blood over my posts.
In the first instance, he's using FR to advertise his product.
Not because it's good, but because he wants beer money.
In the second instance, we can only assume it is because he thought the article to be of interest.
Can I erect a billboard on your property for free?
Cool man.
Maybe you guys are right and i should just add CFP to my fav folder and access directly...
JimRob obviously sees no problem, why should you?
The guy is a louse. He's not here on the same terms as you and I. His sole function and purpose here, is to entice others to click on his site, which puts money in his pocket.
Besides posting excerpts of articles, which ALL lead back to Canada Free Press, he contributes nothing here. He doesn't ever comment or reply. He's a non-participant, fishing for clicks and enriching himself off this community. Nothing more.
Great idea!
See? I have bunches of links like that on my browser.
I don’t need someone who is nothing but a posting bot
telling me what I should read. No reason you should.
You can’t see a pattern in “his” posting history?

Nothing stands out as peculiar?
Really?
Like maybe he’s USING FR to enrich his little crack-head self?
There’s one thing wrong with Governor Bevin, that is he didn’t run for Connecticut’s governor (His family owns a bell factory in East Hampton CT). Hey, Matt, do you have any siblings who are as good as you? See if they will run...Connecticut needs someone like Matt as governor.
It occurs to me that a natural response to the concern of blog "pimping" is to ask these sources to have Jim Robinson include a link to their home page on Free Republic's home page. Wouldn't that legitimize the posting of stories from blog sites? If Free Republic has links to Salon, NYT, WaPo, LAT, and the Boston Globe on his home page, why can't he add a link to Canada Free Press?
If I were in your place, I would suggest to bloggers to ask Mr. Robinson to place a link to their blog on his home page along with all the others, not just shoo them away.
What I object to is the posting of stories and then having the original poster not engage in the ensuing discussion.

“I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR. If a blogger cant or refuses do that, and if he constantly complains or fights with our participants over it, then Id just as soon he doesnt post here. Its not my job to make his content or his presentation or cooperation acceptable to our readers. Thats his job. And if he cannot do it or refuses to do it and continues posting brief excerpts only and obviously attempting to draw away our participants while loudly complaining about it, then I have no sympathy for his complaints and the more apt I am to ban his account and blog.”

What if the poster is a bot and never replies to any comments or questions and just posts.
As long as Sean is fine with Jim Robinson and the moderators then he’s fine by me.
If they zot him then that’s fine by me, too.

Oh, you mean the guy, who owns this site and raises money the American way to run his site!
