You can’t see a pattern in “his” posting history?

Nothing stands out as peculiar?

Really?

Like maybe he’s USING FR to enrich his little crack-head self?

Free Republic's homepage is full of links to media outlets, both left and right. Similarly, most of the Drudge Report is boilerplate links to other news sites. I, for one, rarely visit the home page as I just jump into the topics and posts page, but the links to many other sites are there.

It occurs to me that a natural response to the concern of blog "pimping" is to ask these sources to have Jim Robinson include a link to their home page on Free Republic's home page. Wouldn't that legitimize the posting of stories from blog sites? If Free Republic has links to Salon, NYT, WaPo, LAT, and the Boston Globe on his home page, why can't he add a link to Canada Free Press?

If I were in your place, I would suggest to bloggers to ask Mr. Robinson to place a link to their blog on his home page along with all the others, not just shoo them away.

What I object to is the posting of stories and then having the original poster not engage in the ensuing discussion.
