And That’s The Way It Is…: Shortly after last night’s bombing of the Ariana Grande venue in Manchester, England, CBS reporter David Leavitt, who is such a “professional” fake journalist that he has often bragged about how he is a proud part of the “resistance” against President Donald Trump, sent out the following Tweet: “Multiple Confirmed Fatalities at Manchester Arena. The last time I listened to Ariana Grande I almost died too.” If you watch CBS to get your news, you are getting your news from a bunch of ghouls.

I recall when Obama also joked when commenting on the Munich shooting in 2016 that killed 10 people, which won him laughter from the press.

He's a freelancer who boasts on his still active Twitter account that he works for CBS, Yahoo, etc. Last Dec. he tweeted three words that made him happy were "Trump dies peacefully". CBS took no action. After last night, CBS and the Boston owned-and-operated station emphasized he didn't work for them...links to his articles were still appearing on the CBS Boston site till their tech person got to it and now if you try them...

Leavitt's mistake was being stupid. This is the kind of comment his colleagues would likely share inside the press room, yukking it up ("Good one, Steph!"). Most, however, are smart enough to NOT let something like that wind up out in the public arena.

I detest the CBS Evening News, but I still watch it. Why? Because it gives good insight into how the other side thinks.

The cast of characters:

- Scott Pelly: The holier-than-thou anchor show glowed with reverence when he reported on Obama, but drips with contempt with he reports on Trump
- Major Garrett: He had me convinced he was a conservative when he reported for Fox News. I guess he had me fooled though.
- Errol Barnett: Washington correspondent. Not much to add except diversity obviously mandates that a black, British correspondent must cover American politics.
- Holly Williams: Resident Austrailian war slut
- Margaret Brennan & Liz Palmer: Foreign correspondents who they will send anywhere that requires a head covering or even a full burka.
- Jeff Pegues: Black reporter covering homeland security. Always there is explain why Trump colluded with the Russians
- David Martin: Pentagon guy. Probably the least objectionable of the lot.
- Nancy Cordes: Covered Hillary’s campaign. Now she covers Congress and cheerleads for Trump’s impeachment.
