FBI agents angered at FBI director's lenient handling of email probe!
The surprise firing of James Comey was triggered by the ousted FBI director's recent comments on why he chose not to seek the prosecution of Hillary Clinton for using an unsecure email server, according to White House and Trump administration officials.
President Trump was angered by Comey's assertion that Clinton had no criminal intent when she mishandled highly classified information on her private server, said officials familiar with the president's thinking.
..
"Federal law is clear regarding classified materials: intent is not relevant [to mishandling classified information]," the White House official said.

Even if you accept Comey’s tortured reading of the espionage laws to require conciousness of guilt be prosecutable, its simply contrary to all evidence to assume that there was no conciousness of guilt on the part of Hillary Clinton and her associates
Is that any different than what Comey said before the election ?
Badgers are pretty tough.
I believe the mascot for the University of Wisconsin is a badger.
I can’t think of any school that has a weasel as a mascot.
Well, probably some law schools, but not whole universities.
Perhaps or as protection in case of blackmail. One can imagine all sorts of things but no one fully knows what goes on a criminal’s mind ... which is why that statute doesn’t require criminal intent.
Yes, all the libtards are tied up in knots over their own hypocrisy and dishonesty.
In the case of Hillarys emails, they fabricate an intent standard which is not relevant. Hillary surely did have criminal intent but that is not the relevant standard.
In the case of Trumps immigration EOs, they fabricate another intent standard and speculate wildly about the intent of the EOs when the relevant information is RIGHT THERE IN THE EOs. All that they/we need to know about President Trumps intent is right there in the EOs, the reasoning, evidence, and purposes stated. Besides, the POTUS can restrict immigration for national security based solely upon HIS JUDGMENT. It is not up to the courts or the libtards to second-guess the judgments of the Commander-in-Chief in this regard.
“Theyre trying to use INTENT against President Trumps Immigration Order.”
Not happenstance.
Up to forty five posts and no one has pointed out the “free bacon” yet?
That’s a good link. Thanks.

“FBI Director: Anyone Doing What Clinton Did Would Face Big Trouble At FBI”
“... that would be a double standard.”
“Anyone who did at the FBI what Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton did at the State Department by routing classified information through a private email server would face serious disciplinary actions, FBI director James Comey said Wednesday.”
It just seems to me here that there was clearly a double standard going on, Chabot said. Like, for example, if anybody else had done this, like a soldier or a servicemen who did virtually the same thing, they would have been prosecuted and were but not Hillary Clinton and thats a double standard and thats not the way its supposed to work in America.
It’s really not that difficult at all. Even lib lawyers know the difference between gross negligence and intent.
I was shocked when I heard Commey’s statement about “intent” and that “no reasonable prosecutor” etc. Then when I learned he was co-opting the Just Us Depts authority and letting Clinton/Lynch get away with it, well . . .
The OUTRAGE should have been immediate and LOUD. Commey should have been fired then. That Obambi didn’t wasn’t further proof of his and Dem’s corruption.
And now look at the enemedia. They are stupid and corrupt themselves beyond belief. GTH, all of you.
Shhhhh.
1 email is not intent. 30,000 emails is criminally intentional.
Comey was trying to walk a tightrope to keep his job - prosecute the Clintons and he’s toast. Ignore the lawbreaking and he loses all respect within his department.
I’m sure he never considered the idea that Trump would actually win. That pretty much doomed him right there.
Thanks for taking the time to post additional quotes. It’s staggering to think that Comey sat right there and said, in essence, ‘Hillary gets a pass, but nobody else would.’
Smh.
Do you have a link to the actual statute they refer to? I searched and couldn’t find it.
Comey firing bump for later....
Oh Comey gets it. He is intentionally trying to deceive the congress. He will go to prison.
I served as an E3-E5 in the US Army in Germany, and held a Secret clearance because of my work assignment.
I was continually grilled by my superiors, as to my understanding. I held what some might consider a cushy job, but with conditions.
I worked 6 days a week, and finished reports by 11 am. Then cover the office during regular lunch hour.
Then I was practically free to roam the post, photo lab, library, even occasionally leave the post early.
But that freedom came with the cost of soberly doing my job, including observing the confidential nature of it.
The idea of behaving like Hillary and her staff did while in the employment of the State Department and ignoring Security is beyond the Pale, in my experience.
It does go to show how the Clintons (and others like them, Obamas) come to be like royalty.
Seems you didn’t read the article. Intent is not a factor in the federal law, and is not mentioned in that law at all.
He openly and proudly obstructed justice.
