Today you likened President Trump to Vladimir Lenin, in that both used the expression “enemy of the people”, a grotesque smear. In order to get there you overlooked a huge distinction: Trump is telling the truth and Lenin was lying. Trump is defending himself from lies; Lenin was excusing himself from murders. You invalidate your analysis by omitting critical distinctions. By being nasty to Trump, you make yourself small. The entrenched establishment (of which you are a member), not only made the Trump Presidency possible, but also made it necessary. Why don’t you get on the constructive side of the debate? Trump is a patriot and could use the help.

I think you’re wrong. I heard his statement when he said it, and it was when “ the panel” was discussing the President’s calling out of the lying media on the stupid Mccallum show. He merely cautioned the President not to use such a term because it was in the lexicon of Stalin. The President said it, and Krauthammer cautioned him not to do so. As if it were beneath him to do so. Fair comment, IMO.
Much more fair than all y’all’s broad smears of him.

In lieu of that, I can only state that I think all these TV talking heads and pundits gear their observations and witty comments to impress one another. They don’t give a damn what we think.

Charles can’t quite walk the line, so to speak...he knows that letting his true feelings (NeverTrump) out is bad for his pocketbook, but he can’t really find anything good to say without being snarky. He tries to have it both ways and fails.

Kraut should have taken the rest of the week off to respect Colmes, a mensch and all around decent guy.
If President Trump is making moves to smooth things over with Krauthammer, I say we do the same.
Fighting against Krauthammer at this point gets us nothing.

I believe these are categorical facts.
I don’t care to hear Krauthammer’s gratuitous comparison of Trump to a founding father of communism. Coming from one of ‘red diaper’ baby Bill Kristol’s pal Krauthammer, it is an absurd thing for him to say.
Neo-cons like Bill’s pappy Irving were Trotskyites: the branch of communism that called for an international socialist revolution.
On top of that, I can’t trust anything from a guy who dove into the shallow end of a pool.
