The Bureau of Labor Statistics has been published a politically favorable picture of the economy for too long.
Please revamp the way the reporting is handled and at a future News Conference, roll out the new figures and slam Obama's sham economy.
The time has come to tell the World that American's are unemployed and that just because they have dropped off the roles for payouts they still do not have jobs and could be back in the labor force.
My worry about that proposal is that #fakenews organizations will take those numbers and twist the story to falsely claim that unemployment SPIKED since Trump took office.
If Pres Trump can present it in a way to cut those stories off at the pass, then I whole-heartedly agree!!
Actually, he better do it before the media does it for him and blames him for higher unemployment.
Democrats would howl but it's absolutely necessary, IMO.
I doubt that will happen in one swoop. The disruption would be horrible.
My guess is that the numbers will be restated going forward. They will have a study and a committee. Then they will change one metric, and then another.
That’s gonna happen anyway.
As I opined the other day: Bush, they said, was so very bad that they blamed him for years but now anything that a Trump doesn’t quickly AND favorably resolve they’ll act as if he owns it lock stock and barrel.
There is no doubt that if something does get favorably resolved the so-called “progressives” will try to say it would have happened anyway or else try to stage something to give themselves the credit.
Bet the bank that any correction, any truth telling, will be called Trump lying about the past.
If he lies he lies, if he tells the truth he lies, if he says nothing he’s covering up for some lie ... there, I’ve summarized the DNC boot-lick media for the next 4 or more years, for as long as Republicans hold the WH.
He needs to have the numbers recalculated back to 2000. Publicize view tweet storm the results an how dishonest the press and Obama administration was.
Wow, that came out poorly. this is why I rarely post from my phone. Lol
BTW, the national debt stands at $19.97 trillion today - http://www.usdebtclock.org/
