Okay Commissioner, you have decided to go with Lady Gaga as this year's Super Bowl entertainer instead of a Patriotic American...got it, clearly that is your prerogative.
But we the fans that watch football want you to be on notice, that we have tolerated the BS kneeling of Colin Kaepernick during OUR nations National Anthem, we didn't agree with your decision to allow one of your employees to do that, but that was again, your prerogative.
Why did we tolerate this blatant disrespect to our nation and continue to watch NFL football you may ask, well, we are a very large family of veterans, 12 total and we have served a combined total of 312 years of active military service to our nation, we use Kaepernick's disrespect as a "teaching moment" for our young men and women in our family to point out what a coddled whinny petulant child looks like and how someone that has received nothing but God's grace in his life can let himself be used.
Kaepernick is able to excel and achieve having offered NOTHING personally in the defense of freedom under the very protection of the military personnel that he is disrespecting by kneeling...trust me, our future knows how disrespectful his kneeling is and they will carry forward the message of their family.
So, Mr. Goodell, if you allow Lady Gaga to make a political statement during the Super Bowl -- I submit to you that all 107 of our family members have made a commitment to each other to swear off NFL football at the very moment that Lady Gaga makes a political statement or says anything derogatory against our Commander-in-Chief, Donald J. Trump, we will literally shut the TV off at that moment and not finish watching Super Bowl LI -- This, I swear to God.
Mr. Goodell, this is on you...You can either allow your halftime entertainment to drive away 107 NFL fans (SO WHAT, RIGHT, IT'S JUST 107 FANS), or you can ensure that our views are also respected and we are allowed to watch the Super Bowl without being subjected to an "entertainers" opinion, thus ruining our Super Bowl now and forever -- NO POLITICAL STATEMENTS, PERIOD!!!
Everyone gets to make choices -- Choices are not without consequences.
Your job is to oversee the NFL, coaches jobs are to coach, players jobs are to play the game, half time entertainment is to SIMPLY entertain and not make a political statements -- The fans job is to watch the game and root for their team and buy the products that your advertisers pay a lot of money to advertise during the game. When you disrespect the fan you break the trust and we don't have to come back.

I do not watch professional football but normally watch some of the Super Bowl. We moderate to conservatives need to boycott quite a few things like the Evil Democrats do. I know we most probably cannot boycott all of them we need to focus on the big Democrat backers at least. Wish someone woukd come up with a list.

You are probably right, but 107 of us that watch now will give up the NFL if we are insulted on February 5th, 2017.
As was posted earlier, real football is played on Friday night and Saturday anyway.

I know, football watching can be addictive.
I have only watched one NFL game this year, Cowboys & Packers, but that’s it. I am very doubtful that I will watch the super bowl. As far as lady Gag Gag, I don’t care, last super bowl I watched the half time show was Tom Petty.
I am currently boycotting the NBA due to the comments of Steve Kerr AND Gregg Popovich. Very disappointed in Popovich because I love the Spurs, but I am willing to give them up because of the BS.

The very best thing we can do is kill the viewing audience.
That was the rumor last week but the NFL came back and said they told her no such thing.
I don't know i she'll be doing anything political or anti Trump, and I won't know unless I read about it the next day. No way will I be watching any production of the NFL as long as Roger Goodell is in charge.
Of course they denied it. Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Rule #1 for the half time show is there will not be another 38 (long festival of offensive stuff culminating in Janet Jackson’s boob). So they’ve definitely told her to keep it neutral all the way back to contracting her for the event, and they will never admit that because that would make things innately not neutral.
The racist, Anti-American, "PC" NFL thug-league has been and will continue spitting in America's face so your going to watch them anyway unless demonic, "spirit cooking" Lady gag gag makes an anti-Trump or anti-American political statement? Her mere presence, and being invited to be the MAIN performing "artist" and "attraction", is in and of itself reason enough, on top of everything else, to avoid watching the NFL not so super toilet bowl like the plague.
I used to be a Die-hard Pats fan...no more. I haven't seen a single game this year and won't be watching the not so super toilet bowl starring "spirit cooking" lady gag gag. This is just the latest reason why.
I am literally ashamed of people here in Free Republic that claim to care about America and retaining traditional American values for themselves, their families and their grand children, who are still supporting, watching and hyping the NFL.
How can you continue to support and watch the NFL when the NFL has "proudly and loudly" intentionally become a hatefilled, PC Anti-American, racist institution? They are spitting in our collective face and you're still letting them do it to you... for a silly game that in reality means nothing.
The NFL as an organization literally HATES US AND EVERYTHING WE STAND FOR!
The NFL commissioner, the owners, the managers, the coaches, the staff AND THE THUG-PLAYERS have all tacitly thrown their support behind: those who hate America; those who hate Christians, those who promote sexual pervervion while opposing traditional families; the "kill whitey", hate America, hate Americans, hate our National Anthem, hate law enforcement, hate our service men, "kill the cops", black-racist - "Only Black Lives Matter", anarchists.
This is exactly WHAT the NFL, and it's "enabler" NFL sponsors represent, have willfully chosen to become and WHO they tacitly support.
If you honestly look at the above list: the NFL despises, America; you and everything you believe in and hold dear.
You can make excuses that "it's just a game"; "it's only harmless'entertainment'"; "lighten up, I just want to have some fun and enjoy the game"; "yeah, the rest of the league is bad, but I'm only watching because 'my team' is playing"...
Tell those excuses to yourself, to your family, to your friends, your children and grandchildren when they see NFL thug-players spitting in America's and your face when they are "taking the knee" and when "spirit cooking" Lady gag gag conducts her morally corrupting half-time "show". *Look the utterly heinous, despicable, demonic practices involved in "spirit cooking" up online: This is what the NFL and Lady gag gag want to expose you and your family to!
The only way the NFL or any of this will ever change is if we unitedly take a stand against it by continuing to boycott the NFL, its "enabler" sponsors and buying any NFL merchandise. Because ultimately the only thing the NFL; the owners, managers, coaches, thug-players and sponsors care about is: THE MONEY.
The NFL doesn't care about America, American CITIZENS, traditional American values, or you. All they really care about is the money... starve them of that and they will either have a (much needed) "change of heart" and reform back to the very principles the NFL was established upon and which had once made it a great "national institution"; or die.
Hear, hear! The NFL habitually demonstrate’s through its statements, ACTIONS AND POLICIES that it literally HATES us, America and the very “traditional American values” the NFL was originally founded upon. So why in the world would ANY decent, patriotic, AMERICAN CITIZEN support them in any way at all?
The NFL has cut its own throat; Goodell gave them the dagger. PC, thugs, and liberal racists have killed it. Kapernick can get the sports beat on espn or cnn or nbc or cbs or abc...
If Goodell doesn’t have a ‘dump’ button ready to go, and Gaga goes on a leftist political rant to tens of millions, then the NFL is DEAD. Bank on it.
I gave up on football this year once the NFL became BLM and didn’t watch any of the playoff games, either. I had no idea the Atlanta Falcons had become one of the elite football teams until I saw the Super Bowl matchups.
If she spouts off only ones still watching will be small cadre of falcon and patriots hard core fans
I got an idea if Lady GAGA says anything that is political in nature during super bowl’s half time performance lets just turn off the television.
I know that this will be difficult for some but this is about putting a stop to entertainment being used to sell propaganda.
Last year was a great season. (I live in Denver so the Bronco’s winning was a good thing.) I had a feeling that was the last season I would be watching.
