Does your wife yell, scream, and swear at you? Do you feel like you can’t talk to anyone about your relationship because they just wouldn’t understand? Is your relationship making you feel like you’re slowly going crazy?
If so, you’re probably involved with a woman who is an emotionally abusive bully. Most men don’t want to admit that they’re in an abusive relationship. They describe the relationship and their wife using other terms like crazy, emotional, controlling, bossy, domineering, constant conflict, or volatile. If you use words like this to describe your relationship, odds are you’re being emotionally abused.
Do you recognize any of the following behaviors?
1) Bullying. If she doesn’t get her way, there’s hell to pay. She wants to control you and resorts to emotional intimidation to do it. She uses verbal assaults and threats in order to get you to do what she wants. It makes her feel powerful to make you feel bad. People with a Narcissistic personality are often bullies.
Result: You lose your self-respect and feel outnumbered, sad, and alone. You develop a case of Stockholm Syndrome, in which you identify with the aggressor and actually defend her behavior to others.
2) Unreasonable expectations. No matter how hard you try and how much you give, it’s never enough. She expects you to drop whatever you’re doing and attend to her needs...

When we were kids, my mother and my younger sister were like gasoline and fire, they were always at each other, and if you could say a parent and child hated each other, they came close at times.
When we really wanted to get my sister’s goat, we would say “You are going to be just like mom when you grow up!”
My sister’s eyes would bulge out of her head, and you could see the explosion coming.
She turned out just like my mom. Not a bad thing! (My sister laughs about it now)

She could fly to Shanghai, and when she gets off the plane, some Chinese citizen is sure to point at her and say “Look! It’s the Psycho Girl from the Internet!”

but stop the constant bitching about one sex or the other.....

Hubby's first wife was like one of these women. How he got out of that mess, I'll never know. But I made up my mind when we were dating that it would be a lot easier to appreciate him than it would be to fight with him. We only had 30 years, and he's been gone 15 years, but those 30 were as happy as anyone could ever hope for. Thank God for him and what he was willing to invest into the relationship, and that I had the wits to try to outdo him in the "giving" department.
LOL, I've been known to say that I never worry about my past mistakes, because my wife is able to remember each and every one of them.

I’m glad your father triumphed! I think my father did too in a way - but he was often unhappy. A wonderful man who I miss every day of my life.
And it took them each a LONG time to get tired of her - no matter how crazy she may be.
My big sister is just like this.
She had a major meltdown at an airport once over mis-packed makeup. Security was circling the area! My BIL just hangs his head and takes it. he has had GF’s for years, can’t blame him.
They will never get a divorce as they like to look like the Golden Couple. If you have never witnessed a meltdown, you would think they are.
Many years ago, she was playing the role of backseat driver. When I had had it "up to there", I called her by her mother's name. The reaction was predictable,

In three weeks and two days, we get to wipe our country of everything Obama and all reminders of his existence.

Yes, I agree. Major hormone changes can be very difficult to deal with.

LOL...when my wife pushes the ‘wrong button’, I refer to her by her grandmother’s first name (it can be found under her picture in most quality dictionaries next to ‘evil’ or ‘demon’). The men married to my wife’s two sisters do the same thing...go figure.
