Yet another reason why I was so glad to get out of the Puget Sound area way back in the late 90s. It was bad then. It's worse now.
These SJW (social justice wanker) people are flat-out dead-bang spiral-eyed crazy. But it is fascinating in a looking-at-a-bloody-car-wreck-with-fatalities-as-you-drive-by sort of way.
it is only 33 hours I take a couple of naps on the side of the road at rest stops....I have seen the Mound City police Dept. change shifts at a gas station in town dozens of times and I get to see loads of antelope’s, very large deer, cattle, sheep all in the same YUGE pastures.... dead YUGE raccoon’s....land so flat you could see for days.... I can stop in small cities where I am the only non Native American and buy gas....I drive by a National Cemetery in SD that is by far the most beautiful I have ever seen...and sooooo much more...a very beautiful country we live in...so much to see...I am so thankful I can slow down and see some of it
amazing how many are there...if I had just a little smarts I could buy a Subaru here.... drive it to me mom’s home and sell it for a profit
We left last year, sold the house and our business and moved to AZ. I gave up a great job but it was all worth it.
There are Ferries in Puget Sound?.... : )
You’re welcome in the Sunshine state, although FL has acquired an interesting reputation of late.
As Bob Barker would say, “come on down!”

I grew up in Bremerton and picked strawberries as a teen on Bainbridge, 1964 I think. Made about $4 a day. I was able to buy a nice fishing reel in a week. :)
Thanks for the invite, although I’m well settled on 5 acres in North Idaho. It’s about 2/3 forested and the rest level and open field. Got a well that runs cold and clear, septic and power run in. I rehabbed an old abandoned trailer left on the property into something very comfortable and cozy. So while I’m not living large, I’m living pretty well.
You see them around the Treasure Valley with NRA stickers on them.

...and living in Northern ID Among “friends” is nothing to sneeze at.
