There are consequences to elections and there are certainly consequences over one company raping this government for a couple of planes. Obama and Hillary would have stood for it. Donald won’t
They have to deal with THE TRUMP. The meteor hit. The dinosaurs are all dead
LOL, I used that exact same visual last week describing the Media when they were complaining about Trump using Twitter to bypass them.
They are like the dinosaurs looking at the approaching meteor, with one difference: the dinosaurs didn’t know what it meant.
I think there are many in the MSM who saw Trump using Twitter, and knew exactly what it meant.
Trump is right about AF1.
The USAF pmo on that one is run by a twinkie zoomie who probably has a hard time buying a Toyota on her own much less a modified 747.
Boeing is putting her together and racking up big numbers. Time for an adult to put a stop to the spending.
I always thought 600 billion was a STAGGERING number and we should have twice the number of ships and aircraft with what we spend.
I don’t mind spending on military if it’s being used right, but we all know it’s not.
Slice and dice.
I bet we get the same or better for 500 billion with Trump in office.
He will go down in history as one of our best presidents.
When they start talking F-35, LCS, and Ford-class aircraft carriers then I’ll believe it.
With Trump rebuilding the military, Boeing will make billions, they need to discount a few items, like AF-1.
Major Garret, the anti-Trump reporter on CBS, said Trump cancelled the order because the President of Boeing said he disagreed with one of Trump’s policies.
Now Major, you are speculating, STOP it, that’s called liberal anti-trump bias and people are tired of it.
The bigger issue with Boeing is their contract with China to build a state of the art manufacturing facility in China to produce state of the art aircraft surrendering production technology and American jobs. Hope Trump makes it very uncomfortable for them because now Mcdonnell Douglas wants to off shore all F-16 production to India. National Security implications as well as jobs.
Give contracts are notorious for over runs on budget and failure to deliver on time
Good for Trump
I am only talking about AF One replacements. My understanding is that the deal started with two replacements at 1.5 Billion apiece and that has grown to 2 Billion each for a total of 4 billion. That’s just complete horsesh!t. This is SEATTLE Washington where 747s are made. You can bet your ass a lot of votes were intended to be paid for by this increase.
They’ll soil themselves if he says to Halliburton “C’mon... you can do better than that. “
[Major Garret, the anti-Trump reporter on CBS, said Trump cancelled the order because the President of Boeing said he disagreed with one of Trumps policies.]
That’s FAKE NEWS!
I like the analogy, but they are still around. And unfortunately, they still control the schools, ie, Marxist indoctrination centers.
We have a generational task ahead of us.
If boeing and McDonnell douglas want to offshore to china and india, fine.
But both companies will be taken off of the US government contractor list, and all of their products, military and commercial, will be banned for use in the US.
You want to deal with communists? This is the price that you’ll pay.
I am employed by a mid atlantic medical system. We have 12 hospitals and over 22,000 employees. Our consolidated annual gross revenue is not much than Boeing wants for 2 airplanes.
What a stupid op ed. Boeing and the defense industry will thrive under Trump. But boondoggles won’t.
You blame Boeing for Chinese laws requiring at least part of the manufacturing take place on Chinese soil? They want to sell China planes. I blame the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations for not putting in place at least an equalizing law on Chinese made goods. As Trump has said multiple times, China is killing us on trade with laws like this.
