Barack Obama appointed Judge Mark Goldsmith in 2010 as a U.S. District Court Judge. A clear loser in this unfortunate appointment will be the taxpayers of Michigan. Judge Goldsmith just ordered that a recount is to begin at noon on Monday. The recount will cost over $5 million dollars…Way to go Democrats! Keep it up ya dummies!
A federal judge has ordered Michigan election officials to begin a massive hand recount of 4.8 million ballots cast in the presidential election at noon Monday.
U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith issued a ruling just after midnight Monday in favor of Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, who sought to let election officials bypass a two-business-day waiting period that would have delayed start of the recount until Wednesday morning.
The manual recount process was scheduled to begin Wednesday as specified by state law, and in a rare Sunday hearing in federal court, Goldsmith questioned the harm posed by waiting.
Stein’s lawyer Mark Brewer argued the case was aimed at ensuring the integrity of Michigan’s voting system and that the required waiting period violated Stein’s rights to due process and equal protection. He pushed for the recount of 4.8 million ballots to start immediately, which he said would be Monday morning.

The US constitution expressly gives the states total control of their individual voting process and laws regarding same. This was the basis for the US Supreme Court ruling in Gore v. Bush. Gore was shopping for judges, then the Florida Supreme Court, but the state legislature had lawfully adopted rules and those rules were followed.

The Judge is an exception to the rule; “They don’t put Marble tops on cheap furniture”.
The problem with that very quickly comes when you disenfranchise the people who voted for Trump. You only have to read the comments after articles for the last 2 years to know exactly where this ends up if they succeed.

I don't think that that's the way it works.I believe,but am far from certain,that if no candidate gets 270 EVs it goes to Congress.
Yet, the idiots ignore the real vote fraud in Clark Co, NV where a recount and clean up of the voter rolls would give the state to Trump!
If those three states are denied to ANYONE as a result of some sort of miscount, judicial action, etc, then they are lost to the number of EV's available to count toward the majority.
In other words, however they may be denied, they will be denied to all candidates and not simply taken from the leading candidate's (as in Trump) total...which in effect reduces the number that comprises a majority within the Union.
So...I really don't see the point of the cry baby arse holes and their machinations.
Realistically, what they are doing is simply disenfranchising all the voters of the contested states...making the entire process disappear for all, not just the R's, the D's or the nut job Greens.

Federal government and federal judges has no right interfering
If that is true, the Supremes won’t overturn.
Stein has no standing.
This judge is a hack. Nothing more.
Would seem the AG should be speaking up about now.
Not to worry. We can trust the Republican-controlled Congress to impeach and remove the judge if he ignores the Constitution and the law. [GIGANTIC SARCASM OFF]
