Donald Trump has officially won Michigan, the final state to be awarded and the capstone of Trump’s unlikely run of narrow victories in the Midwestern states that will deliver the first-time political candidate to the White House.
Michigan’s Board of Canvassers certified the results on Monday afternoon in Lansing. Trump won 2,279,543 votes (47.6 percent), according to the certified results — 10,704 more than Hillary Clinton’s 2,268,839 (47.4 percent).
Trump becomes the first Republican presidential candidate to carry Michigan since George H.W. Bush won it in 1988, breaking a six-cycle Democratic winning streak.
That adds Michigan’s 16 electoral votes to Trump’s already impressive tally of triumphs in the Midwest. Trump carried Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — states that had last voted Republican in 1988 and 1984, respectively — by margins only slightly larger than his advantage in Michigan.
Trump also easily flipped Iowa and Ohio — perennial battleground states that President Barack Obama had carried twice.
But like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, there are indications that Green Party nominee Jill Stein is planning to contest the results in Michigan. Stein — who won 51,463 votes (1.1 percent) in Michigan, according to the official canvass — has hired former state Democratic Party chairman Mark Brewer and has until Wednesday to request a formal recount, which is estimated to cost nearly $800,000.

It seems that half the population of my county in Florida is Michigan retirees, snowbirds, or working families who came south for better opportunities.
I am just so proud of our Rust Belt states coming through for The Donald and MAGA.
And, as the atrocity at Ohio State U reminds us, Minnesota would also more than likely have flipped if not for the population of foreign scum in the Twin Cities. Sad business ... my Dad was born in Minnesota, although his parents took him to New York as a toddler. Still rooted for the Vikings all his life, though.
Michigan officials have said they are going to conduct a hand recount, probably take at least a month. Federal law requires all recounts to be finished by 12/13.
If the deadline isn’t met, the Republican Electors in MI will probably cast their votes anyway and send the results to Congress. The House has the final say in accepting all Electoral votes, and they will no doubt accept votes from MI Electors.
The Dems will complain that the MI Electoral votes are not legitimate, but the Constitution is clear that Congress has the last word over which votes to accept in cases where there are disputes over Electoral votes. The fact MI has certified the popular vote gives the Republican Electors a clear legal basis for their vote IMO.

The integrity of the MI vote (not mentioning Detroit /Wayne county of course) — the very last thing the SorozNazi DNC HilLIARy forces would want is even a tiny chance of an Honest recount in Detroit or Philadelphia or Milwaukee — ha ha ha!!

Truth is that Hillary didn’t campaign much at all.
i.e. she didn’t have the energy to campaign properly, nor would she have the energy needed to be president. It was one of many reasons it was imperative that she not win.

AP has though, but google, bing and yahoo refuse to update their election maps to show 306. For a long time, many searches would result in google themselves showing the EV maps, but not any more! Google wants bury that 306 number as much as possible.
Yep - and Michigan didn’t make this announcement until it had conducted its own all-county recount. Stein/Clinton/Soros are dead in the water and will doubtless make whining puling noises but have lost as much as they hoped to gain with the scam they tried to perpetrate.
Once a vote has been certified like this has been. You cannot recount. What they are saying is wishful thinking. This is dead in the water.

After the abysmal last 8 years, I don’t think I will tire of it for a good long time.
Considering that the entire Clinton campaign was just a major cash grab anyway what make people think that cronies late to the party don’t want to feast too? I’m surprised that we don’t see more scams like this .

Truthfully, she expected that the DNC state operatives had lined up more than enough illegals and corpses to take her over the top. She underestimated Trump’s numbers.
why does Jill stein get to count all votes why not only hers?

In fact one can’t ask for a recount until the “certified’ vote is announced!
The certified vote is just the official vote.

Stein has 48 hrs to ask for one (not sure if she did that today) and then other candidates have 7 days to object.
